Article: Racial tension in DA: ANC

Thats cause you cant appoint someone to a position, they have to be democratically elected in. So the leadership cant say, "Well we want X to be premier". The position is open to anyone in the party who wishes to contend it.

Welcome to democracy.

You must tell it to Musi coz he wants to be the only one contesting.

Of course he wants to be the only one contesting. Much easier that way. You don't always get what you want.

What you need to do is look at how the ANC would handle the same situation: Law suits, court orders, dirty tricks, smear campaigns etc...

Dude, anything beyond poop politics is beyond you, so I dont expect you to understand or appreciate the democratic system.

i know you are still attending DA school teaching you about democracy. Dont worry you will understand it soon.

Bye going to play with my heli now.

Same old platitudes coming from the ruling party....when one cannot run on one's record, try to run away from it and look for anything that might get some traction....exactly the same with the Zille refugee statement...could not defend the fail state status of the Eastern Cape....so went after the refugee statement...

This from the ANC is like explosive diarrhea calling a perfectly shaped efficient waste-eliminating turd worse ..

Yes, they are training me to be a leader. However, as per usual you get it wrong and they are not teaching me about democracy. You are expected to know that before you are even considered for a course like I am doing.

Bye going to play with my heli now.

This, like the entire character you have created is false ;)

This is a new low. Even for ANC.

I don't know wether to laugh or cry. Do they seriously think that DA will have two premier candidates in 2014? Hello, its called an internal election. One of them will be picked on 9th august.

And no, Cool E, the provincial leader does not always have to be premier candidate. Not in the ANC and not in the DA.

I honestly don't think that the DA are god's gift to SA

Yep I can't say I like the ANC and seriously want them to be challenged but I don't want them to loose to the DA who seem to have some hidden agenda's.

Rather the devil you know and all that,in this next election I'll be voting DA but only because I don't want the ANC to feel too comfy.;)

In most cases my statement its true.
Answer this: Why HZ is a premier while she was contesting for presidency in last election? Does it mean she was nominated for both premier and presidency position ?

What hidden agenda?

Its hidden :p

Its just a personal opinion,I don't trust them, they seem a bit fake somehow.I've heard reports of some DA run town councils giving certain minority groups less than stellar treatment but they never do it openly always try to use regulations etc to make it all seem legal.

I will vote for them because of some of the potential positive change they have brought and the fact that even if they don't win they will shake the ANC up but I'm keeping an eye on them.

In most cases, yes. But it doesn't always have to be that way. For instance, the ANC:s Northern Cape leader John Block is not the premier in that province.

Did she stand for the precidency? I would have to see some confirmation on that.

We shall see. HZ will be campaining for presidency again in the next general election.

We have a Westminster based democracy, so you do not run for president directly....the majority party in parliament elects the president...so you can campaign/run for the position, but the actual voting for the position takes place in that snoreville we call parliament.
