You target the people which puts the regime under pressure. It's not like the regime didn't target innocent people anyway, it routinely tortured innocent people to death and shot teargas into people's homes in the middle of the night indiscriminately. Their soldiers terrorized youths and there were even reports of rapes during the various states of emergencies.

Let's not make it as if the regime fought a fair fight.

Targeting innocents is wrong and even by most war accords is punishable. Those who did were terrorists, plain and simple, if a military target is difficult, going for government one is more allowable. Shopping malls have nothing to do with the government.

MK was a joke and spent time helping the SADF by killing their own.

How is this any different? Assuming we know all the facts here (which we obviously don't); those being that some mysterious boogey men wearing two-tone khaki with combs in their socks wanted to target the ANC. Speaking of assumptions though, let's get onto Sly's post...

Everyone makes assumptions sometime or another. Newspapers, the news on TV, etc. I'll make an assumption of you, you believe EVERYTHING you read in the newspaper. I started a thread about banning swimming pools, and it's not here. So please refrain from posting about a subject that is discussed on a thread on another thread with a totally different topic altogether. Let me guess, I sound like Julius Malema? And that's supposed to insult me?

I really do detest it when people insist on links so this is going to seem odd but could you please link or point where it is stated that you cannot discuss topics from other threads? Some folk make out that there is a set of laws about what you can discuss and I am afraid that I didn't get that memo in my welcome pack when I registered.

That's your problem, you want everything to be written down on paper. Where does it state that I must shake the hand of a new person I'm introduced to? Where is it written that I must get up from a seat if an old lady doesn't have anywhere else to sit in a fully loaded bus?

But you were pointing out something about swimming pools being in another thread so I thought you might know.

And I think you might be confusing me with somebody else. I don't need everything written down. It's just that there are so many demands for links or comments about what might have been in an article or people insisting that other must answer their questions that I was wondering if I had missed something.

But, by your own admission, you are clueless in this regard.
