These killers may well be caught but, if so, it will only because of the special effort and expense devoted to the case and bungling could easily damage the chances of a conviction.
SAPS has replaced most of its trained and competent detectives since 1994 with unfit comrades whose only qualifications are blackness and loyalty to the Party and, at the highest levels, loyalty to JZ783.
We have had a black Bok Capt, jbtw. Its only about race in your vacant cranium.
He was a national asset and hero to many, no expense should be spared.

MEYIWA JERSEY TO BE RETIRED
In commemoration of Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa, Orlando Pirates chairman Irvin Khoza has announced the goalkeeper's number one jersey at the club will be retired.
"I don't think anyone can replace Senzo and his jersey will never be worn by anyone else again," Khoza said.
Meyiwa, the 27-year-old Pirates captain, was shot dead while visiting his girlfriend in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, on Sunday evening.
He is the second player to be honoured in this way, with former striker Lesley Manyathela's number 22 Pirates shirt retired after he died in a car accident in 2003.
Meyiwa was set to lead the Buccaneers in the Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs on Saturday -- the clash has since been postponed.
Khoza flew to Umlazi, Durban, on Monday afternoon to meet the Meyiwa family.
"The family will direct us on how to move forward with the funeral arrangements," he said.
"The funeral is most likely going to be at the weekend."
Meyiwa joined the Pirates academy as a 13-year-old and broke through the ranks into the senior team later in his career.
After patiently waiting for his time, Meyiwa asserted himself as the first-choice goalkeeper in 2012.
His leadership credentials also led to him recently becoming Bafana Bafana captain and first-choice goalkeeper under new coach Shakes Mashaba.
In his final match Meyiwa guided Pirates to a 4-1 win over Ajax Cape Town in the Telkom Knockout quarter-final on Saturday at the Orlando Stadium.

NO ARREST IN MEYIWA CASE
No one has been arrested yet for Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa's murder, Gauteng police said on Tuesday morning.
"There has been no arrests yet, investigations are continuing," said spokesman Brigadier Neville Malila.
Meyiwa was shot in his upper body in the Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni, while visiting his girlfriend, singer and actress Kelly Khumalo, on Sunday night.
One shot was fired inside the house and two more were fired randomly outside.
The attackers used a .38 revolver so no cartridges were left on the scene, police said on Monday.
The attackers demanded cellphones and money.
National police commissioner Riah Phiyega announced on Monday that she had set up a multi-disciplinary task team made up of forensic, crime intelligence, and visible policing members to handle the case.
A reward of up R250,000 was being offered for information that could lead to the arrest and conviction of the killers.
Malila said information on the identity of the alleged killers was being corroborated for identikits.
"The suspects' identikits are expected to be released later in the afternoon," he said.

They wont spend the money on me Marvy, or you for that matter because if we get shot dead in a run of the mill robbery its not exactly 'global' news now is it!
In contrast this is, practically the whole nation, the whole continent, and the rest of the soccer playing world know about this, which is precisely why the cops need to make an arrest soon, hence an inflated reward.
If you can't understand that then you are beyond help.

If you think that only using the full extent of the available resources when someone famous dies, and never at any other time, then Marvy's not the one beyond help I'm afraid.
Thats not what I think, as pointed out earlier it is idealistic thinking to believe that is what should or does happen. (all cases being equal)
The point is not whether or not I agree with it, it is just what happens everywhere in the world.
A nation wont mourn when Marvy gets murdered, they will however when a sports hero and national captain gets killed. The response from authorities will be proportionate to that reaction in an attempt to remedy the situation.
Phiyega lies through her teeth when she says this case wont get special treatment, of course it will. The public and political pressure at play will ensure that it does.

Sneeky, no one is disagreeing with you. That yes its how things are globally, but we all are against it and unlike you will not condone or accept that its ok. Not that us not condoning it will change things. It is not idealistic thinking for one to want the same treatment at all.
