He was a high profile figure and a national asset, you would expect the same for the Bok rugby capt and no doubt get it.
Pshhht...this really has nothing to do with whether its a bok or bafana captain. Why make this about race or a diff sport code? mxm...
Bottom line is, R250k is ridiculous. Is that the only way our cops can get leads really?
Wait a minute. So this guy dies trying to protect a nyatsi, when he should have been with his wife, and he has a place reserved in heaven? Which heaven?
She emphasized during a press conference that this case is not getting special treatment.
The attackers were at the door. He was moving towards them.
All murder cases should receive the same amount of attention from the police,as is being done to find these scumbags right now.

EWN quoted the police. They said , he was shot while trying to get to the door. Not protecting the girl
Looks like we found rza's twitter handle.
SAPS has replaced most of its trained and competent detectives since 1994 with unfit comrades whose only qualifications are blackness and loyalty to the Party and, at the highest levels, loyalty to JZ783.
We have had a black Bok Capt, jbtw. Its only about race in your vacant cranium.
He was a national asset and hero to many, no expense should be spared.
yeah they wont be spending jack on you will they? you the hero of none it seems and u obviously don't deserve that treatment too huh?...You quite ignorant boet
They wont spend the money on me Marvy, or you for that matter because if we get shot dead in a run of the mill robbery its not exactly 'global' news now is it!
In contrast this is, practically the whole nation, the whole continent, and the rest of the soccer playing world know about this, which is precisely why the cops need to make an arrest soon, hence an inflated reward.
If you can't understand that then you are beyond help.
If you think that only using the full extent of the available resources when someone famous dies, and never at any other time, then Marvy's not the one beyond help I'm afraid.

Thats not what I think, as pointed out earlier it is idealistic thinking to believe that is what should or does happen. (all cases being equal)
The point is not whether or not I agree with it, it is just what happens everywhere in the world.
A nation wont mourn when Marvy gets murdered, they will however when a sports hero and national captain gets killed. The response from authorities will be proportionate to that reaction in an attempt to remedy the situation.
Phiyega lies through her teeth when she says this case wont get special treatment, of course it will. The public and political pressure at play will ensure that it does.
