When the OP said this:
anyhow thank you for reading please be safe

enjoy
I legitimately (and naively) believed that he had managed his expectations pertaining to the forum.

Therefore, I said this.
Peace and long life.

Live long and prosper.

Then the rest of his discourse followed.

I hope for his sake that OP only uses internet whilst at work/sees the light and returns back with a positive attitude.

I’m curious why it’s so easy to change usernames that’s something you don’t see on online forums too much. What’s the point in allowing this is the real question

It's so all the Indian chicks can hide from you

I placed this here for you to see in hope that I can be given some clarity.

In regards to be able to delete threads, why is this a big bad thing?

People communicate on forums for information to connect with people and the like. Many times the wrong things are said angers are unleashed and it ends up being a bad show and everyone gets hyper focused.
Because half the point of a forum is it acts as public repository of information. If you ask a question about X, and a bunch of people contribute toward answering you, it's created information about X that anyone can now access. When you delete your thread because 'you got what you wanted' it's a bit of:

a.) a screw you to the people who contributed because their input didn't contribute toward anything other than the selfish desires of one person who's now deleted stuff,
b.) a screw you to everyone who might've benefited from the information remaining in place.

If being part of a community that has it's ups and downs and living with the consequences of what you said and having a permanent record thereof is too much for you, then to echo previous sentiments: Go start a blog or something. A permanent record is maybe also some incentive to act in ways you're less inclined to want to erase from history - to be cognizant of the fact that whatever you say is available to everyone to see.
