Yes I did delete all my posts because few if any of them was well received so i figured rather then having to deal with the constant situation i just defuse it. It is not wrong nor a bad move. Why is it bad to say "right i need to get my point across in a better way lets redo this" Why is it so horrible?

Like I said before, larger platforms allow people the space to delete and edit without penalty why must we be penalized here. The only reason i wrote "deleted" on my posts is because it is the only way to stop the discussion. One would think that "thinking for yourself" should be welcomed but it is clearly not.

But no matter I and a few others decided that other platforms might be a better fit. So we will do that. It is just I thought I would make mybroadband aware that having the ability to truly remove something isn't such a bad thing. It really helps.

so i stand by what i said, if other larger platforms can allow for something as simple as a delete function surely they can as well.

You never "get your point across in a better way" though. You just delete all the content thereby trashing the thread.

If you prefer the policies of a different platform, why not use said platform?

Edit: also, it's not like you edit/delete a few bad posts, you delete every single post.

Why would people want to get involved in threads that an OP wants to trash once they have answer they need or gets an answer they don't like?

In each of those posts I had the same trolls following me around. Why was this not taken into consideration? More importantly why does it matter if i deleted it? If it disables a toxic conversation? Again if i could delete the entire thing people wouldn't even have noticed it.

You know I am right about this and I am sticking to my guns on this one. None of this would have been needed if the op had the ability to delete things properly.

When you start a thread it doesn't mean it's actually yours, it belongs to everyone. There could be information, valuable to others, that doesn't deserve to be obliterated simply because a thread didn't evolve the way you hoped it would.

If you want something like twitter or facebook, use twitter or facebook, not a forum.

Secondly I didn't want to trash it, I wanted to remove it completely but don't have the ability. But he solution here is very easy actually. Just ban my account. I am not going to bother making a new one and honestly I will write and continue to write until I don't have access anymore. It is part of my personality I can't stop I don't know how to stop. It is why I am very good at what I do for a living. I have to learn, try work repeat get better get better. That is why I deleted all that stuff. It is like "right time to clear the page figure how to write in a better way" do that see what jumps out and redo it again and again. I cannot and will not stop so admin better stop me then.

The OP habitually creates threads and then burns them by removing all of his interactions within the thread so his ability to edit, not delete, posts was curtailed.

It's clear what he wants is to start threads and then delete them, in their entirety, with no regard to those that have taken the time to engage. But that's not how forums work.

That argument might hold if it was one or two posts or a single thread. You've pseudo-deleted ALL your threads

I want conversation that is constructive yes... Again when people walk up to you and say things you don't want to hear you don't stick around you walk away and avoid that person in future. It is only human to hope that some will agree and if they disagree that they give a good response as to why. That is why it is called conversation and not a boxing mach.
