Asterisk/Elastix Noob

Hi All

I've decided to try and score some brownie points with my boss, and told him we should move from the extremely expensive 3CX PBX to Asterisk/Elastix.

I've done all the basic stuff, but now I seem stuck getting my trunks to work. We have a 2mb dedicated VOIP trunk to Vodacom, which is handling all our SIP traffic.

For the hell of me I can't seem to get this to work. The trunks just show "not registered", any help would be massively appreciated.

Hi Mr_G why not use comprehensive and cost effective solution from www.euphoria.co.za ! Yes I run the business, but also have over 500 business customers who are all satisfied, often euphoric with our services. Running an asterisk solution bare has extremely high risks associated with it. You have to know what you doing and needs constant maintenance to ensure it continues to run smoothly. You can have everything with reporting for as little as R65 per extension with support, honestly it is a no brainer.
