Get A Free Aston Martin DBX When You Buy A New York Home (Apartment)

Aston Martin is no stranger to partnering with other industries for collaborations so it comes as no surprise that the Gaydon manufacturer and renowned architect Sir David Adjaye have paired up for an exclusive offering.

Five luxury New York homes (apartments) will be gifted with a bespoke Aston Martin interior design and will be located on the 59th and 60th floors at 130 William in New York City.

If you choose a unit with two or three bedrooms, you can ask for one of the rooms to be converted into a racing simulator room complete with the Aston Martin Curv Racing Simulator.

If you drop the dough on one of these five luxury units, you will also be given an Aston Martin DBX for ‘free’ which can be fully customizable in collaboration with the architect to match the look and feel of your multi-million dollar home.

Aston Martin to gain ‘bespoke’ Mercedes-AMG engines under revised deal

Aston Martin’s chairman says the British firm will receive “bespoke” engines from Mercedes-AMG under a revised agreement.

A number of current Aston products – including the base DB11, Vantage and new DBX – employ Affalterbach’s “off-the-shelf” twin-turbo 4,0-litre V8 petrol engine. But Aston chairman Lawrence Stroll says that’s set to change.

“Our current AMG engines are just that – AMG engines in an Aston,” Stroll said, according to Autocar.

“With this new deal, we will have bespoke AMG engines for Aston with different outputs, torque characteristics, etc. They’ll still be AMG components but bespoke manufactured in Germany,” he explained.

Here's how many cars Aston Martin’s chairman plans to sell a year

Aston Martin’s chairman has revealed his annual sales goals for the British firm, with the majority of volume set to come from the DBX range.

Lawrence Stroll told Autocar the Gaydon-based company would be capable of selling between 12 000 and 15 000 units annually once its range was complete.

He suggested around half of these yearly sales would come courtesy of the DBX range, having previously confirmed more “derivatives” of the crossover are on the cards (perhaps including a seven-seater variant).
