I'm gonna reiterate... Why spend R21000 or even R16000 on something you can get for R12000 from overseas (ebay), which is 100% legally and 100% safe. Plus Asus has international warranty so you don't even have to worry about that.

..... I have already done the calculations for you, which came up to R12540, this takes shipping and import duties into account. I have worked up the price again for a different G73Jh seeing that the previous one wasnt listed anymore.

$1,366.10 + $114.00 (Express shipping e.g Fedex) = R10 134.13
Now, add import duties and vat: R10 134.13 *1.1*1.14 = R12 708.20

Final price: R12 708.20
(However, you still need to add delivery costs from J-burg to wherever you live)

As I said in my previous post, my friend just got one of these laptops from ebay, he also upgraded a few of the parts (extra HDD and better CPU) and ended up only paying R16000.
