Does anyone know if and where I can get this mobo or one simpilar? OR if they not in SA yet, when are they coming?

Where did the figure of the 28th come from. Even Asus hasn't got a date.

No stock on the 2600K sadly, ETA is set for early-to-mid Feb (2500K as well as 2600K).

Edit: We're in Cape Town

hehe, built a nice system but im low on budget:D How typical... buy all the shiny stuff and the power later... OOPS! Seems like ima have to use my current PCs PSU;) Ok well I think I'll buy it tomorrow. You dont by any chance have a physical address and take cards?

Physical address is on the "Contact Us" page (with a Google map).
You're welcome to do an EFT when you're here but no CC's accepted at the moment.

Let me know if you have any other questions here or mail me directly [email protected]

Landmark are not cheapest at the moment. You can get a 2600k if you look around. Buy while you can because there is a shortage.

Never said we were the cheapest. Lounger maybe you want to back you statements with facts of who has in stock at what prices? While you're out doing that...

Intel Socket 1155 Sandy Bridge i7-2600K Quad Core 3.4GHz CPU Only - R2830.62 (at current Rand/Dollar rate).

tbh Lounger you are wrong. Been shopping around now for a month and a half to build my pc. They are rather reasonably priced. Just a brief look through their product list/prices, cant say I would have payed much more for what I am getting. And they seem to have my mobo;)

Never heard of Landmark till now:/ Pity, cos I may have bought a lot more.

Sure. Rebeltech R2759.77 and getting more stock end of this week apparently.

Well then young man, welcome to my little piece of the interwebs. Feel free to make your self at home and let me know if there's anything you need.

Your mobo is R1757.41 compared to R2005.26 at Landmark.
In total you would save R318.70

I would also like an answer about Landmark's quoted delivery date (see question above).

Where is it 1757?

Where is he going to get a 2600k from lounger? Please inform me as my credit card is burning a hole in my pocket and i cannot find stock.

Stock Friday as I said. I did see it elsewhere but someone already asked. I don't believe for a second that you actually need one though. :p

I want one i have a i7 920 but i can pass that down and get a new beast, believe it or not i am a speed freak and the work i do the more speed the better. I want sandy bridge so i can get sata 3 and run dual sdd's.

So i am looking at spending about 7k actually. Sandy bridge cpu mobo and 2 120gb ssd's unless i can find a 120gb phoenix in which case i will only need one ssd
