Attempts at Driver's Licence

First time for both. I hear of stories in the East Rand where they fail you if you don't pay a bribe something like R1500. Corruption is rife

Was once told I'm too pale so will need to cough up to have a better chance to pass. Didn't have cash on me so I failed for "not visibly showing that I am checking blind spots".

1st learners and 2nd drivers ( still can't beleive it as I tapped a stupid pole alley docking which I knew backwards ( ). Nerves I think.

pass on my second time, fail because i didnt know the hand signal and other small point e.g riding on clutch.

Did my learners twice, passed both times. Passed my drivers the second time. Cocked up the alley docking first time.

I passed both first time...I find that people who are stressed about driving tend to fail...just get comfortable with the car while you have your learners. When I had my learners, I just insisted on driving every time we had to go somewhere. Also practiced in several different cars, that helped me, later on you get a natural feel for any car's clutch....

tell your clutch (and later your wallet) that riding on clutch is a "small point"...
