Well, this thread went to hell. Sigh. I'd just like to point out quickly that there is a big difference between being a muslim and being an islamic fundamentalist. I'd also like to know why this thread is going on regardless of the fact that it's been proven that Obama is not a muslim...

Wow I stay away from the news section for a while and come back to find out that Pupa has returned, alan has a new mate who wishes he was a marine and everyone is still confused that a man named Obama isn't muslim.

I didn't support the invasion, because it was done for less than overt reasons. Right now, in order to stabilise Iraq, the USA is going to have to send a lot more troops to fix the mess that they have created, or else just give up and let Iraq go to hell in a handbasket. Anything that the USA does now is probably going to fail because they didn't plan the outcome originally. I don't really care what they do now, but still think that they shouldn't have gone in originally.

An aneurysm is not a stroke, it's a distended blood vessel. You can 'have an aneurysm' for years without it bursting. Next time you decide to use obscure terms, find out what they mean first.

Age makes no difference when it comes to life experience. I know 20 year olds who've done more in their lifetimes than a lot of 40 year olds.

You never experienced the full power of the CNE system or were even really mentally astute enough to understand any of the horrors of Apartheid or Angolan wars.
