Automatic trans: correct usage at drive-through?

Lens flare, over exposure, color distortions...
Sounds like a Nikon photo

I'm really curious, was this at a Pizza Hut?

I'll be sure to take a photo next time.

I think it's exacerbated in dark drive throughs because there your eyes are kicking up your night vision to compensate. McDonalds drive throughs are quite well-lit, while KFC ones are a lot darker, for example.

Assuming KFC?

If you read the entire thread in one go it boils down to:

A specific SUV;
at a KFC;
Which was dimly lit.

I'm thinking something on the shady side of town with a pimps custom jobby which offended a specific person once.

This might be a stretch, but perhaps OP's brake light offender actually had his rear fog lights on?
Those are meant to penetrate through fog - so you can imagine what it does in a clear line of sight.

There is only one mystery remaining on this thread. When Dave and Sinbad spend a cosy night in each other's arms, who is big spoon and who is little spoon?

Derailing your own thread? /considers RBP :twisted:

To read the amount of confusion on this thread, anybody would swear that y'all have never visited a dark drive-through at night in anything other than a Toyota Fortuner.

Maybe I've unwittingly had the bad luck of getting an entire thread full of the very people who are the ones so oblivious of this issue (or so self-centred) that they don't understand they're blinding others (while nobody else is doing this to them and so they just don't get it). Place your bets? Not the first time some of the people here have proven they don't care about anybody other than Numba 1.

You don't really need a spoon to eat chocolate coated :sick: pizza...

You really lead a tragic life, your Nikon has a yellow cast, your Pizza Hut is covered in chocolate and now the nasty bullies are shining bright red lights into your delicate eyes.

Have you considered moving to a better area with street lights and it won't seem as dark as you queue for your pizza at night...

I have a Ford Figo... people on their brakes in front of me in drive through do nothing to me, not even the mildest announce, and if there was I'd just look away, we are moss standing still so I don't have to observe where I am going.

Just to confuse the OP even more...

What he said, but in a (automatic) Clio. And yes.. I stand on the breaks when I'm waiting in the drive through.

The only tragic thing in my life right now is you, Dave, but it's ok. I knew what you were a long time ago already, Mr "I am a pizza expert because I visited Italy" ;)

Ok, if that ever changes, just come back here and share your experiences :) Deal?
