automatic voltage regulator broken

My Cummins generator has been run for 2 years and used in my ice factory, but there is a problem of the automatic voltage regulator, alternator is Stamford brand, so I want to look for a new one to replace the broken AVR, SX440 AVR is suitable for my generator? Urgent!! Or other models also OK?
