Does anybody have any suggestions how to get any customer service from Autopage? Or are they just totally not interested in their customers?

I have been a loyal customer of theirs since around 1996 and have 4 contracts with them but really get the feeling that they not interested in my business. Every time I try get something from them it feels like they doing me a favor!

My latest I even went to the trouble of logging on the portal and only to get the response by email - thank you the call was resolved without any response!

Ian trying to get a way to check my contract data bundle remaining and seems this is just not possible? Then I am asking why if the portal shows my data usage is below my bundle do I still get charged? Their answer is because they not wrong - yeah right then give me the details! Lastly I am asking to reduce my monthly SMS bundle - the answer is no- who knows why!

Chasing these topics are time consuming and their call centre has no idea where to even assist. So I would like to escalate - but how? Can one use the CPA?

Any ideas or does one just aim for the MD?

Anybody had good or bad experience with Autopage?

on here I've only seen bad experience threads.

With which SP are you through them?
How long before your contracts expire?
Could you not port to the SP which you are through rather than via someone else?

Dude I cancelled both my contracts with them
They r useless

So sad but so true! Vote with my rands and feet!

Network us both MTN and Vodacom - maybe they can offer a better deal and service.

Will see if I can fight my way out of current contracts.

Here we go again Mr Venter & Sons !!
I often wonder when mobile phone/data users will ever learn that the Networks use "Hangers On" service providers like these including Nashua Mobile etc. that cannot provide the service levels as required. So do not support these franchises, infact the 4,5,6 number of your cell number donates which service provider you are with.

Lesson support the main provider like VSP (Vodacom Service Provider) trading as franchises called Vodashop,Vodacom4U, Chatz Cellular and CelluCity. If MTN then use MTNSP shops in the malls. If you are not sure ask before commiting to contract.

The benefits are FULL 24 Hour and web selfservice when useing the main players.

LASTLY ALWAYS APPLY "CAVEAT EMPTOR" WHEN DEALING WITH THE CELLPHONE COMPANIES

My queries getting some attention this morning but not holding my breath!

I had to escalate to Autopage MD - Mr Boyd Chislett and remind them of the Consumer Protection Act however! An indication that their customer service does not exist.

It is a very good question - what value do these second tier service providers bring? Maybe time to move to contract directly with the network providers! So I have given notice and will try get early contract termination.

Interesting the news article on CPA non-adherence by network providers - some of my points raised with Autopage. They do not provide a service - they just view customers as easy revenue.

At one stage I had a total of 5 contracts with Autopage. Over the last two years Ihave slowly been working on cancelling and porting my numbers away from them.

I am down to one contract that expires at the end of September and I cannot wait to be free of them.
The only time you get calls from them is when you are due for an upgrade, or when they are trying to sell you the privilege of saving them paper by emailing you your statement.
I tried to cancel my Visual Voicemail subscription with them a few days ago. NO ONE I spoke to knew what visual voicemail was. Even after they checked my account they could not find or figure out what it was. True as nuts tho, next week R10 will be debited I am sure.

I have waited out my contract just to cancel. This is my last month after eight years with them. Not looking back.

It is confirmed - even at the highest levels the answer is not an Autopage problem - speak to the network operators.

They have no idea of customer service, a complete rip off and a bunch of useless individuals.

So agreed I will fight them and move to close all accounts!

My contract with them ended on 17 July. I successfully ported to VC Shop on that very day - quick and painless!

I get an SMS from Autopage on Monday stating that the estimated fee owed to them is R544 and change... Anybody else had this 'fee' owing

Afaik you pay for your subscription in advance and your calls in arrears, so that could be for calls you made. So it could be valid, but dont pay them s cent until you're sure it is.

Monitor your bank account like a shark for the next few months. They often make "mistakes" and keep billing you the subscription. Reverse immediately if it happens.

Yes well said caution needed

Once again I am in dispute with Autopage! They have shocking customer service and seem to not know how their own systems work.

While I pay them it always seems the problem is with MTN.

I pay for itemized billing and MyAccount but now due to their account consolidation I can no longer access my history!

Discounts I previously had now suddenly get taken away - surely if U have been getting discounts since last upgrade they part of my terms and cannot just take them away when I query my account?

I need to move away from them ASAP but need to find way out of my contracts!

The Bastids did that with me! I immediately reversed ....but then fought for the bank charges to be reversed also...
Your bank will not reverse for nothing...........costs involved!
STAY AWAY FROM AUTOPAGE!
