AV Stands

Almost everything must be ear and eye level for me. Otherwise it's going to bother me.:p

+1

Exactly the same as me - that's why I removed the centre from it's cavity that I had made for it to put it higher and open air. Sounds far better

My biggest issue was fitting the Microserver.

Initially had it inside the cabinet but overheated and didn't any to take the back off.

Do you think a Blu Ray player gets hot?
Playstation 4?
Was the rear of your cabinet removed - or a full closed cabinet?

Why not mount PC fans at the back and have them suck out the hot air? Pretty sure a 120mm fan would do?

That is an option... I can't do it myself due to my lack of skills, but will consider it

I was thinking of that as well. You just need a drill with a circle saw bit. It's not a difficult task Dolby.

My specific issues lies with the Bitfenix case still being noisy as F###.

Ok so I am going to try this now. But...if I glue my fan to the back of my stand where I drill a 200mm hole, how am I going to power the fan?
