Avast! "HTTP Returned Server Error"

Hi guys,

I have the latest Avast! Free Antivirus installed on my laptop. What I am noticing now is that it isn't updating. I am connected to the internet, there is no proxy server settings for my internet connection. Everytime I try and update it gives me the error "HTTP Returned Server Error". Normally updates would just happen automatically. This is the second day this is happening for me. Is anybody else getting this issue?

I suggest you do a full virus scan, that might be preventing you from updating. Also tick "My computer is permanently connected the the internet" and under proxy "No Proxy (direct connection)"

Thanks, I did a reinstall of Avast! and it worked well.
