Avoid purchases from Orange online store

Hi guys,

Just a warning. After someone recommended Orange to purchase a Nexus 4, I placed an order on the 12th of December. I am STILL waiting for the order. I called yesterday, and it has yet to reach their Manchester warehouse. Looking at their Facebook page, it seems quite a few people have the same issue with little help. Anyone else had trouble with them?
 
Bought three Moto Gs at different times. Fast delivery. No hassles. Same with about 3 different friends/colleagues.

Maybe a stock issue they didn't communicate
 
Plenty of us have had problems with them. Search orange in the forum
 
Try getting a refund out of them - now that's a pain. That being said, so of the call centre agents are very helpful but not sure how good their accounting / refunds department is.
 
Those with EU passports can complain to EU because Orange is owned by a Dutch outfit.
 
My dad ordered a Samsung Note 10.1 tablet and Sony Z2 from the Orange Store and had no issues. Great prices and fast delivery.
 
My phone has finally been part-shipped, without the case. At the moment it's sitting in JHB, crossing fingers to get it tomorrow.

I'm also dealing with a refund (3 months now). I agree their call centre agents are relatively good, but the divide in the company is horrible. They can't give you any information at all, all they can do is "escalate" the issue. Which I do 3 times a week...
