Ok so i need the 5Kva Inverter either the Axpert or RCT Axpert who can help?
Ok so after much research I have decided to purchase the below
1x Axpert MKS 5KVA Inverter
4x Deltec Betta BC-6CNFJ-100 12V 100 Ah Lead Crystal Battery
Only remaining question for me is how the batteries be connected in series or parallel?
Thanks
Tks Gifs
Next problem I have is my DB is in my kitchen and would have to install Inverter and batteries in garage spare room.
Distance from garage room to Db is 7 meters , now what size cable would I need to use to ensure minimum loss of power ?
Thanks again for all the help
Hi,
Is this feasible?
I dont particularly want to wire this into the DB board... I'd rather keep it separate from that.
Is it possible to have it hooked up to charge via a plug?
There are a handful of things i want to power - as in 4x LED downlights, tv, hp server, router, so my desired power is very low.
And i did see the Axpert inverters do come in smaller sizes like 3KVA and 1.5KVA which suits my needs a bit more.
SO it is OK to plug it into a "plug"?
Thanks Greg_SA
So effectively keep batteries close as possible to the inverter.
I have a 1kVA for lights and TV/Study/alarm. But it is wired to the DB, because I want al the lights to work. If you want it separate, then you'll have to use other lights.
Thankfully - the lights in question are not wired into the DB board... the previous owners of the house set these 4 lights, which are built into shelving in a way that i can get at the connection both easily and out of sight.
Cool, then it'll be easy... You can make a portable setup - box for batteries and mount the UPS/inverter to the side, with a plug lead going to the wall, and a plug socket on the output of the inverter.
I have an Axpert wired into my DB, but my step father is building a box just like I mentioned above - I'll try to get a photo... should be done this week.

48v * 100ah = 4800 vah
(4800/2060 )* 60 = 139 mins
But your batteries will be 100% empty and will be damaged
Suggest getting more bateries
Safe discharge % is 50%
Work on 70 mins
Is the 50% applicable to Lead Chrystal too ?
What is the price difference? No, you can discharge lead crystal completely. If you've got the money for it, go for itWish I was in your shoes though.
