Axpert invertors

I have an axpert 5kva and planning on running 2 to get 10kva. I have now found out that the estate I live at will buy back any excess power I generate... Can i do it with the Axpert?

Savage previously suggested that i look at the InfiniSolar as my primary objective is to generate power, second to a back up for load shedding. I know the infinisolar is grid tied and i wont have a problem to feedback but will cost me R50k for 10kva as opposed to R20k for the same from 2 Axperts...

The Infini looks awesome but since i am a newby I would like to keep my cost down in case I mess it up somewhere... Can the Axpert feedback as i have previously read threads that seemed if guys where feeding back on the grid with the Axpert?
Funny thing is that the Axpert software actually shows an option saying power returned to grid in certain modes. I saw it whilst playing with the Watchpower software. ?

It showed returning 50Watts back to grid. I was not running anything on the inverter output at the time.

Interesting.... Thinking of going for infini to be sure, payback period does not seem too bad :)

Hi Guys,

I hope someone can help. I got my inverter installed on Wednesday.

I bought one of these remote control panels to monitor the inverter from inside the house but the instructions are not very comprehensive.

Has anyone also possibly installed the remote monitor that might have better instructions?

Any help will be appreciated.

What's the problem , it just plugs in. They did change the connection, hope you get to correct one .

Think the first ones had a RS232 plug and the newer ones comes with USB plug for the remote display . Never saw it myself but heard about it

The newer Axperts have both USB and the RJ45 serial port. The remote display should work with anything bought in the last couple years. AFAIK it just plugs in, the inverter supplies it with power.

Please i need some help

I have 2 Axpert 5kva inverters in parallel .I have to set them to PAL in program 28

The problem is it does not want to change when i am in program 28

The screen stay on sig

Regards

Joe

Did you plug in all 4 cables for parallel mode? The one set crosses, and the other not.
Are the 2 firmware versions the same on both?

Agree firmware must be same ... If not they don't work to well.. Please try to 1st only connect 1st inverter AC and switch it ON. Your 2nd inverter must be disconnected from AC and be OFF. Now you'll be able to change SIG to PAL on inverter 1. Once done repeat steps on inverter 2 as for inverter 1. Then power both inverters off connect all cables (2x red &ablation, 2x grey RS232 cable) + AC. The inverter being powered 1st (black switch right bottom on inverter ) will show HS and 2nd inverter after power on will show SL.

If you have PV's connect rem to change program 31 too

Thank You for the advise T-Man and Krugeran51 :D

when i tried to program the supply AC to both inverters were off

Also the load side were switched off

All current share and com cables were connected

INVERTER A: U1 72 40 ? ? ?

INVERTER B: U1 52 30 U2 01 24

I do not see U2 on inverter A

Hi Sunmaster. Those firmware need to be the same. Where did u get your inverters from they should be able to give u update. Else Pm me I've got latest 72.40 but please don't blame me if things go pear shape. Upgrading firmware needs no rocket head. Inverter beep for +/- 9min while update is running.... That's it
