Axxess Capped ADSl

Any reason why we have nothing on Axxess?
Or is everyone happy with their performance??
Or should we just accept Axxess = Afrihost?
Performance of Axxess ADSL has really gone down the drain the past couple of months.
Gaming bad, streaming extremely bad.
Or is it just me and everyone is happy?
 
Major problems on both Axxess and Afrihost. Axxess is less popular, but the issues are very similar.

I'm not sure how separate these companies are. Not much by the look of things, maybe just the call centre.
 
I have accounts with both, and both have similar issues when it comes to data services.
Support at Axxess is useless.

Support seems to be mostly 1st level. ie. take the customers details, read from a script.
I think all Axxess issues are put in the Afrihost or MTN network queue.
 
At least Axxess acknowledges that they do have a problem, let's hope something gets done soon.

Months after the problem began, however.
 
I'm with Axxess now but am thinking of moving at the end of the month. Any recommendations (how much difference does the ISP make for gaming latency)?

Stay away from MTN backbone ISP's. That is my recommendation. I've had great experiences with crystalweb and vox. Webafrica would be my 3rd choice
 
Games on MTN network still unplayable. Ping seems fine intially, then jumps around so much you can't do squat.

Timeout follows and the kick!
 
We need to have an official axxess feedback thread!

I'm watching youtube buffer on 144p right now. 40mb line with a capped account! Nothing wrong with my line either, stats are all good, and works just fine on my webafrica account...

Anyone know when you need to cancel by? Is it too late for this month?..
 
Axxess bandwidth has become so crud lately. Busy looking for somewhere else to take my clients. International is terrible. This has become a recurring theme for afrihost/axxess. They over sell their network then take a long time to resolve the problem.

Most of the ISP's offer a free gig account.

Get one and test them out.
 
Cannot wait for the end of the month to get the Internet back on track.

Dropping Axxess have become a priority when you get 240p on a 20Mb/s line on a Sunday afternoon.

Axxess useless today.
Already downgraded my capped account last week.

Exactly why I came to this thread. Youtube is impossible right now and my line is 100%.
