Axxess Mobile free data promotion

Fair enough I guess. I lose 1GB of mobile data as a result, since I was on the 4+4 package. Still beats what Afrihost tried to do.
 
If you're existing and carry on subscribing you still get double, this is only for new customers. As I understood it.

It makes sense for product positioning for the 2 ccompanies.

Afrihost is giving 100% more data now for 1 month.

Axxess is giving 75% more data now for 3 months.

Instead of having the same product, there is product differentiation.

Nope, for existing customers until end of April, from May it's 75% across the board. Will evaluate my packages & compare with others. change if need be.
 
When is the cancel period for Axxess? Is it the 25th like AH or 31st?

Just seems a bit snakelike to do this on the 27th.

Well I think that's why they say existing customers continue for another month with no change, only new customers are affected.
 
So all the people that jumped ship from AH to Axxess - what to do now :p

i'm probably going to hell for this, but ah well -

you guys do know that you can upgrade/downgrade your service at any time...right?

so i followed the following simple process to get data quite cheap
  • end of Month 1 (+- 5 days left) - upgrade to the biggest package (12 + 12GB) - Cost me R106 for 3 days now. results in 3.79GB pro rata
  • immediately change to the smallest package (250Mb +250Mb) ( R29 per month)
  • thus for the next two to three months, you will utilize the first 500MB for that month, and then the old pro-rata data(+-1.8GB per month)
  • Rince and repeat End of June ;)

thus works out to about R36.72 per GB or 3.6 c/MB. ( R193 for 5.25GB)
roll over is AWESOME :D

think this will especially save some cash /data if you do this before the planned changes.
 
Soon it will be all gone i guess. But at least if they maintain the roll over that would be nice of them
 
Just got an email from axxess... Axxess slashes Mobile Data prices!

By increasing their prices? :erm: Charging less but also giving less is not cutting of prices Axxess.

Cheapest/Average price is now R49/GB while one could get pricing as low as R32/GB with the 75% promo. R40/GB price point was even available with quite a small bundle.
