Axxess Mobile has Data Rollover!!!

Their prices are not competitive. Only the rollover is attractive. But will you want to pay the premium for that? I wont.
 
Do you need a MTN SIM to be able to use their service? I asked and they said the SIM has to "be approved" but I don't know what that means

I have a CellC SIM in my phone

Basically you can get a separate Axxess SIM(which is really just an MTN sim with Axxess branding), or if you have an MTN contract you can get the Axxess APN settings and use your current MTN sim.

No Pro rata discount on the data only accounts like your DSL accounts :confused:
I do understand why you don't offer Pro rata on the hardware bundles but would be nice to pay less this late in the month for mobile data.
Will try you guys out next month.

Hi m0zy,

Axxess Mobile Data rolls over for three months, so no pro rata needed. If you don't use it you won't lose it!
 
Plus, the speeds of LTE - people will definitely be clearing their caps ;-)
 
Was so excited to get mobile broadband from Axxess seeing as they are my ADSL ISP, then got found out I need to change to debit order payments as they don't accept EFT for mobile?? Stupid. Lost sale.
 
Hi Axxess Lady, I saw you mentioned that you were Afrihost's sister company. What is the relationship exactly, operate from the same premises, etc?

Due to them offering double data, I have 3 mobile accounts with them. I'll probably stay with them until the promotion ends towards the year then review my options. If you also using the MTN network then there shouldn't be any difference in line speed, etc? No point in really moving over to Axxess as long as Afrihost has their deal right?
 
Hi pozmans,

We are run as completely separate companies ;)

The difference between us and Afrihost is that our Mobile Data is cheaper (taking into account that their Double Mobile Data Promo will eventually come to an end). We also have a 3 month data roll over, a first for SA. So if you don't use it, you won't lose it.
 
Vodacom has 2 month rollover, but new data is consumed first. What is your policy Axxess_Lady?
 
Hi sajunky, our rollover policy reads as follows: Should you not use all of your purchased data within a month (1st to last day of each month); the unused data will carry over to the following month for a period of 3 months. As your data is exhausted the data from the previous month will be added to your current data first, thereafter the rollover data from the month before that is added and so forth. Data carried over and not used within 3 months will fall away at the end of month 3.
