Axxess Pathetic service

Hi there

So I want to know what is the best isp that's going through openserve in PTA. Currently with 400GB cap at Axxess and I'm not happy with their service.

First my issue. Lately I've been experiencing latency and timeout issues to international sites and rarely local sites but I've been in contact with axxess with them unable to solve the issue. This was the exact same issue when I had ADSL. I've send them traceroutes and also contact Axxesslady with little to no response. Whenever I have the issue I switch to a test Telkom/openserve account one of the technicians gave me to test (not the guest account a legit account) and everything works, no timeouts and consistent ping.

I play some games that doesn't have local servers like pubg, rainbow six siege and I get massive lag and connection timeout issues but not on Telkom/openserve account.

So I have done also the following test from different accounts and another fivbre line we have at work that runs on neotel neobroadband 10mb/10mb fibre(man they awesome). I do a ping to bbc.co.uk and guru3d.com (only 2 sites I can think of in my head that doesn't have local caching) and on the work fibre line it's stable 180-182 (bbc.co.uk) and on my fibre line at home (axxess) 177-230 with timeouts. on my home fibre Telkom/openserve account it's +-200ms and no timeouts.


Currently I'm on 400GB capped account unshaped but think I should change ISP due to axxess unable to respond and not even bothering trying to fix it.

I'm getting sick a nd tired cause first it's Mweb that has issues and now Axxess where do we go next. I'm starting to get annoyed with incompetent isp's that can't deliver a proper service and when they can't even fix the issue. keep asking for the same thing over and over and still not resolved.

Although I can not complain about Axxess's service per se, I must admit I have been struggling with international traffic. Even a Speedtest shows a drop to maybe 15Mbps on my 100Mbps line. Worst the speed is all over the place.

Where are you based? I'm in the PTA area so my international bandwidth goes from PTA to Durban and then out. From time to time I see a problem with durban and surroundings having issues with slow speed and I think it's related. So if someone from Axxess can maybe let me go from PTA to CPT then out I think it would be fine. But I spoke to escalation manager earlier and he will take the matter further not that I hjave any confident in this. Even Axxesslady hasn't responded yet so that also says a lot. Even LEVEL-7 has responded to me in the other thread I made.

Please Axxess get your act together cause I can't recomment you to anyone anymore so now it's the 2nd ISP that I can't recommend to anyone anymore.


Oh an another thing is I have made 2 threads also about timeouts and slow speed between 8-10pm at night but still same issue. It's like they don't care cause they already have me hooked for 6 months

So you getting routed via Durban for international. I will ask them if they can router me via Capetown rather. I will rather have a bit higher ping but more consistent connection than lower ping when it works. They told me before that I'm going through Durban but i think there might be issues as people that I know geting routed via Capetown doesn't have the same issue. Funny that axxesslady hasn't commented yet on this thread just shows how little they care about their customers

Bohoo. I already did like a few times. So please stop it with the generic response. I don't like it when you ask me 5 times for the same deatails. Beep bop beep bop. I will not surrender to a robot.

It only took you this long to respond to me and then you come up with this generic response. pathetic Axxess. I thought you can at least do better than this. Can't wait till april then I'm done with you guys for sure. How come you are voted nr.1 ISP. lol

So tonight I have high latency again. The lady at the call center told me on a fibre my ping of 90ms and 35ms jitter is fine. What a way to doge having to attend to a problem. I made sure nothing but my pc is using the internet. my download speed is fine 10mb down 5mb up also tested with openserve guerst account gives me a ping of 5ms and 0-1ms jitter but on the axxess account I get 70-100ms jitter. Why am I keep being treated like an idiot and being lied to?
