axxess press release

i dont think its uncalled for

I tend to agree with killadoob. I started a similar thread before this one, after I spoke to Axxess, and I certainly would not want to be branded as someone that started unfounded threads.
 
Well, I spoke to them at 8:10 and they told me that the press release would take place in about 1 - 1 and a half hours... it has already been an hour...
 
You got that right.

It just seems very out of character for Axxess. From everything I have heard their service was top notch.

You can see the majority do support Axxess, so why do they keep us holding our breath?
 
guys i phoned saol and im signing with them now

they said after nov they will still only charge 299

forget axxess take a chance on saol

might be a money scam might not be i am willing to risk my 229 pro rata and 299 next month and see
 
Well I'm still holding thumbs, but will be changing to IS uncapped if 2x 30GB accounts (what I have now) cost the same as IS uncapped @ R1539/m

That particular IS uncapped doesnt allow any p2pthough...

I think a lot of these guys are banking on telkom not having the structure ready and implemented...

I'm with axxess and I like them, but I dont really know what to do man. How the hell can saol offer 30gb for 299???

I mean - look at WA!

I think that they are banking on telkom not being ready to implement the 1/11 shock.

SAOL did explain it elsewhere, they juggle with numbers. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but they seem to sell x number of accounts, and then bargain on the majority of users not to max out their accounts. So, a bit of a risky business if you ask me, but time will tell
 
It is VERY risky business!

I would think now that bandwidth is that much more expensive, a lot of their clients will downgrade to package that is more inline with their usage. If that is the case, their model goes out the window!

I don't do p2p, mainly use my accounts to download Linux distro's and the sorts.

I have had no problems with Axxess, but I'm not prepared to pay the same for 2x 30GB accounts compared to an uncapped account with 5x static IP's. thats a bonus.

Anyway, just my opinion.

Looks like AXXESS just messed up a bit. Just got an invoice for November for my 30GB accounts:

R349
 
THEY TOLD IF me if i dont use my full 30 and only 25 then i'll be fine

still 299 for 25 gig as opposed to 379 for 10 much better
 
hmm starting to wonder who to trust here... Inovice, Axxess, or community... Suppose its nearly 3 hours as they told me over the phone... so I guess we just have to wait and see...

Personally I'm getting edgy, cause every ISP has had to cancel the 30GB account, what makes axxess so special that they will be able to do better?

I mean Datapro is rediculous!

Ok R299 for "around" 25GIG, thought it was for 30GIG?

Now what exactly can you use, 20GIG from next month or 15GIG?

Only time will tell :)
