Axxess service

I dont usually use more than 200gb per month on my Axxess account. This month however, we used a bit more bandwidth. I pay approx R1.90 per gb for 200gb, to top up they charge R7 per gb, almost 400%.

Regardless if other providers charge more for top up data, the defensive call centre agent could not explain the massive price increase Axxess charges.

I have been a happy customer, until today. It is ridiculous to ramp up prices the way they do. Instead of selling me prepaid top up bundles at my average rate, encouraging to use more, their pricing is telling me to please stop using their service.

When you top-up they need to compensate for unplanned usage during the month. So yes, they are discouraging you to top-up. Instead they want you to buy a larger monthly package which they can properly plan for accordingly.
