ignorance at its best!I think the big problem is people are confusing uncapped and unshaped. What Axxess have simply done is give you as much cap as you want then cut-off all the big bandwidth users ie peer to peer stuff. So you have all this capacity and nowhere to use it lol
Simply put either way you are stuffed. Only when they offer uncapped and unshaped will the offer be worth anything.
I have a friend with agrihost who says he is getting good speeds. Frankly when I readed the words "HEAVILY SHAPED" I stopped reading. Now with myisp offering a cheaper heavily shaped service AXXESS are back to square one.
My own conclusion and this is based on absolutely no facts is that only MWEB were prepared for the uncapped revolution and AXXESS and friends are scrambling to save face as hords desert the sinking ship. While MWEB bought up all available excess bandwidth Axxess and co milked the gravy train.
The average consumer will almost certainly be taken for a ride before the uncapped craze stabalises. And the first one to offer both will win![]()
