The Audi should also have an EDR which is part of the build in software on the computer box which in turn is linked to the Airbag.

I clearly stated that I could read the link because it is blocked by a firewall I sit behind!!!
How on earth do you expect they figured out the speed? I don't even think the EDR is used in this country. And if you read Pitbull's reply to my questions he says the witnesses determined the speed by looking at the where the speedo locked. I wanted him to clarify whether they used the Audi's speedo or the car they were in. What is wrong with that?

Btw, you're setting a bad precedent here. You can basically infract people for disagreeing with what you believe.

I'm only speculating though given the info provided.

From what I understand, mostly all new vehicles have EDR built in. Audi's have them for sure as well as BMW's and Volvo's. Whether or not the Accident investigation units use it here I have no idea. These days the aim is to clear an accident as soon as possible to avoid secondary accidents. So these type of things are done off site after the markings and measurements have been done.

I hate to say this but, good!! He wanted to act stupid and he paid the price. Glad the innocent people escaped this time around

Seriaas? That audi is fubar! You drive an audi by any chance?

Ask yourself this, which car would you rather be in, the non-disintegrated audi or the D3 during a crash?
