Bad company 2 connectivity issues since friday.

hey guys i'm just trying to find out if anyone else has had trouble logging into bad company 2 since friday? i can eventually log in (it takes a while and often comes up with failed to connect to EA online) but rank comes up as 0. i can eventually get into a game but then i get kicked in about 5 minutes =\ tried contacting EA, no reply. tried updating punkbuster manually, didn't help

k spoke to EA apparently the servers are down for another 5-7 hours, i'm taking it with a grain of salt though since it was one of those "try clearing the temp folder" type customer support chats and they've been down since friday which is long

I had some issues on my PS3 over the weekend and it was a combination of Telkom exchanges going down and my one ISP (I use 3)

i'm beginning to think it's my isp as well actually, after these seacom outtages and cybersmart doing upgrades or something ping has gone through the roof i wonder if it's so high that it can't keep connection with the ea servers

My ISPs are Telkom (my main account), Afrihost & Axxess. My Afrihost showed some serious latency until I switched back to Telkom.

But then again there is a reason why I have these accounts as I equally get the same good service out of them and I also equally get the same amount of downtime or reduced service.

i wonder if the seacom issues are part of it as well... it's gone down twice since thursday
