Bad Driving thread

WIsh I had my GoPro this morning...idiot Silver Corolla driver that skipped a red light ahead of me on Gerhard and Von Willich road and nearly plowed into 2 other vehicles in the intersection ready to turn, really caused my stomach to turn! Was considering going after him and confronting him on his seriously reckless driving but he skipped the next red light as well...these type of people need a proper reality check (read PK against the ear)!

Red Honda destroyed the sign at my wife's work next to the R304.

Not sure if it falls under bad driving, but I had a bit of a "disagreement" with my brother in law last night, he came driving in with his one year old standing on the front seat of his car, driving with one hand, other hand holding the child in place. He looked at me as if I'm crazy when I confronted him about how dangerous that is, because the child "refuses to be buckled in and starts screaming". As if a one year old can decide anything, mine would never have dared to do that.

Bloody moron, I will never allow any of my kids to drive with this wimp. My kids can't even recall a single time in a car without being buckled in, it's not only stupid, but reckless as well.

Dude that's worse then bad driving. Bloody moron is an understatement. The simple answer to your BIL is Dude carry on letting your one year old sit without a seatbelt just cause they throw a tantrum and all it takes is one unlucky day in the car and you won't have to worry about screaming or any noise from you kid ever again :(
most people make it an argument and a Burden and kids pick up on this If you explain to kids the reason and you don't have an argument about it simple in the car belt on or we don't go simple no issue.

Mine was buckled in from their first drive home from the hospital, so for them it's the most normal thing in the world, in fact, they will tell whoever get's in the car to please put on their seat belts. I cannot understand people that can't think how dangerous this is.

Who would have been in trouble had there been an accident?

The cop. I see so many cops breaking the rules, so often they speed/drive recklessly. Area I got trapped on on West Coast road once? Well, the other day a cop passed me there going at least 120 in the 80 zone, nfg.

Cops are amongst the most dangerous drivers on the road, they go on as if they own the road. Seen a lot of them go on as if there are no other cars around.

Saw a bit of a "fast-lane" road fight this morning on the N1 north, black guy in a fiesta overtook a female driver on the far right emergency lane just before the Rivonia offramp.
From what I saw, the lady was pressing on a vw polo tsi, after she overtook the vw, she didn't move over to let the fiesta guy pass. I'm guessing that agitated him and he proceeded in overtaking her on right emergency lane.

The fiesta driver's action somehow touched an indian bmw m140i driver, he followed him all the way to william nicol where the fiesta offramped, but the whole way to william nicol, the bmw just wouldn't back down from the fiesta, screaming in his car weaving around the traffic trying to stop the fiesta guy.

Fiesta guy didn't pay much attention to bmw guy, I would swear he is an ex taxi driver, utterly stupid from both drivers.

looks like everyone involved here is an idiot - lady for not moving over - fiesta dude for overtaking on the yellow and BMw for thinking he is the law or something -all dangerous

Also your directions seem off - N1 north before Rivonia Off Ramp and they took William nicol?
on the N1 north William nicol comes before Rivonia  - so i assume you mean N1 south.

Think you confused now Wait till its name winnie madikizela mandela Drive

Following up on this, this one year old kid is now spending the day by us. Buckled him in just now when they went to the shops, not a boo or a baa. He saw my kids buckled in, and had no issues being buckled in himself. The dad is just a wimp. I'll go look for a car seat for him next weekend when I'm not working so they don't have the excuse of not having the funds to buy this kid a car seat.

I have the same issue with my in-laws. The son is turning 7 in December and he literally bounces from the boot of the car to the front seat, head out of the sunroof or hanging out of the windows - their excuse (as adults) is that he does not listen #facepalm. I go to fetch him, he climbs into the car, sits down, straps himself in and we go about our journey - same story, parents are just stupid f##ks taking the easy way out on discipline
