Standard-arseholery-to-skip-slipways happens just about everywhere. Why bother to obey rules which aren't enforced? The rest of us apply non-standard-arseholery and respectfully wait our turn

I flipped some off this morning.

As usual they have no idea what they did wrong.

I can see now why traffic are backed up every morning. Lots of cnts right lane hogging at 20 under the speed limit from early morning on backing traffic up.

Traffic would move so much easier if every stuck to the speed limit and only went to the right lane to overtake.

Noticed my usual route the highway was standing still, employed waze it took me round it nicely without so much as a minute added to my journey, thanks Google.

For my morning route there is unfortunately no detours. Just one way sadly.

Accident at Mnandi Spar on Tulip Rd. Taxi jumped stop sign and got kafoefeled by a big bus.

People are still stuck in the Q from Diepsloot side towards Pta.

I took the Diepsloot onramp and the N14 to Pta, arrived at orrfice at 08:00.

And on the N14 going towards Pretoria just before Forest Hill City, we had a biker lying on his back on the road, probably a sideswipe from an inattentive driver.

Have you consulted a map?
Heh, I can remember before world+dog had a GPS I consulted a map in order to find out where I need to go, then memorized the route. Was good excercise for the brain.

Nowadays you rely on a GPS, and if it makes a mistake, you won't notice it until it is too late.

BUT on the other hand, a proper GPS will tell you to avoid an area that's heavily congested, and give you an alternative route.

Traffic into Century City has been horrible, there is a hole in the road. Everyone inspecting the situation (nuuskurige agies) and still no clue how to drive around obstacle sand lane merging etc.

I live in a smallish town, there's only so many ways through town.
So you don’t really have traffic issues at all then?

Edit: I should have refreshed before posting. Stellenbosch isn’t what I’d call small though.

Just to add insult to injury, the cops are also conducting a stop and search in Olieven.

This causes traffic to migrate from Olieven to other parts as the Olieven residents try to avoid the stop and search.

In comparison to Cape Town where you have many alternatives, it is. Here you have a route through to the other side of town, with not much alternatives.

^ what he said, correct. Pta and JHB all have alternative routes.

Cape Town not so much. One side is the sea, other side is a mountain.

Maybe the Capies can look at hollowing out the mountain and use it for living quarters? :X3:
