I'll admit, I have enough speeding fines to pay for half of SANRAL's debt (well, almost!

) - I love to drive fast but believe to do so responsibly.
First of all NO speeding near schools, parks etc. where kids might be playing, nor in areas where road visibility becomes difficult (ie. hills, blind corners etc.).
Also, I adjust speed to the conditions to the road and traffic - NO fast driving in the rain or peak hours - I do not want to be "that a-hole" on the road.
The "fast lane" is a privilege but by no means a right. Even if you drive a Ferrari or GTR, the lane isn't your playground, nor should you be driving in it if your top speed is 60kph!
I fly (pardon, drive :twisted

to work at about 150kph on the highway. Slower vehicles do wise up to my presence without the need to flash lights at them, and no tailgating either. The occasional mouth-breather will require some prompting with a polite flash. If need be a 'slight' hoot, strobe style flashing and weaving like Senna tends to 'convince' them to leave (it should be pointed out that this happened only once...ish).
The simple concept to get into one's mind however is: to drive a bit slower = saving money.
