Bad Driving thread

The N1 in Cape Town has 4 lanes after Sable road, two going to the cbd and the other two linking up to the m5. Typically the two going to the cbd are backed up and I always get into the 4th Lane when it opens up as I take the koeberg road off ramp.
This morning as the solid line becomes a broken line I indicate and start crossing, I notice WIAN-WP in a white double cab crossing the painted Island to get into the same lane. I continue my move WIAN is driving much faster than me, very quickly is on my bumper and flashes his lights, presumably because I slowed him down in the left lane after he had made an illegal manoeuvre to get there.
WIAN-WP then proceeds to get back into the lane he came from and into the lane on the extreme right. So the only reason WIAN-WP wanted to be in the lane is to skip the queue in the lane where he should have been.
He does this illegally and then gets aggressive towards people trying to use the road as I'm sure it was meant to be used.

Jesus. Where have you been? This is perfectly normal weekday driving in Joburg.

But it doesn't make it right.

They do it often here in PE as well, where people do as they please and presume the road belongs to them and only them

Happens often on this road as well. This guy just highly irritated me with his speeding and flashing because I inconvenienced him by following the law.

Yes it happens often and might be normal. This is the bad driving thread right, and I think this is bad driving. Do you disagree?

This almost turned into an ugly road rage event.

I don't disagree at all. Should've put a big smiley in the post I guess.:D

On the way home last night (+-11pm), just before N1S Beyers Naude - two cars had pulled over into the yellow lane but the drivers (I assume) were busy fisticuffing on the middle island next to the fast lane. Crazy road rage gone bad I think...

Police get called? No weapons involved?

And this won't be distracting?

Doesn't work for whatsapp but for SMS's it's actually decent. No different from hands free talking imo.
What's so special about this?

//screams at phone - "OK google. Send whatsapp to wife"
Google in her sexy robot voice "Ok what's the message"
// "Hey wife"
Google "Got it, do you want to send it or change it"
//"send it"
Google "Message sent"

Nissan Navara ZFZ 366 GP seems to be too entitled to wait to go up the queue where there were roadworks towards Grahamstown and tried driving over the cordoned off section and thereafter tried to squeeze in.

Luckily the queue was long and the cars close together so in the end he fell even further behind that what he would have been
