"Maniac!" - Classic top gear clip that.

So there is ongoing road works on the R44 just outside Stellenbosch and while I am sure lots of bad driving happens on the road, some of it happens off the road by the construction crew.
Two weeks ago they knocked over one of the trees next to the road and it fell across the dirt road. Everyone using this dirt road just walked around the tree, but eventually on Thursday I got fed up and after a lot of effort I pulled the tree out of the road and into the section next to the tar road which the construction vehicles use, kind of an F U to them.
Now the tree is dead. As in D E D - ded! But look at what these Einsteins did as an F U back to me...

Yeah, like that gonna grow again![]()

It's like they are ripping up the same piece of road many times over. Arseholes.
As drivers, though we sit in our own private spaces in our own private cars, we actually spend our time sharing the road with other drivers.
Drivers who aren’t the best at driving. I’m not talking about using the damn cell phone while behind the wheel, either.
I’m talking behaviours that you can spot from metres away and instantly make you go, “Oh, that person is a terrible driver.”
What tips you off immediately when you see it?
I’ll even take it a step further and ask if you notice a person you’re riding with driving badly, how do you bring it up to them?
People seem to get very protective and defensive about their driving. I’m so curious.
That cash in transit looks like it could just push the VW out the way...
these people who think their phones are more important, we know who is going to die/meet in a car accident first.
