Bad Driving thread

N1 William Nicol offramp heading into Bryanston this morning, it's a schit storm.

Instead of people joining the line back on the freeway, they feel the need to push in right at the end, some Indian idiot almost dinged my car in his bmw, I let him through and hoot at his stupidity, he simply opens his window and brings out a middle finger with his fat fingers, furk me! And the mixture of taxi drivers just make it worse.

I swear the line of vehicles goes by fairly quicker if there is cops chilling there drinking fanta orange in the mornings.

Looks like two motorists didn't have a pleasant 'month-end' shopping experience at Meadowdale Mall in Edenvale earlier today - someone zigged when they should have zagged and they ended up having a fender (and bumper / bonnet) bender respectively in the parking lot with their Polo & Yaris sedans.

Front right damage to the Polo:

Front bumper of the Yaris - the driver ripped it off after the initial accident, as it was almost completely detached already and just hanging by two mounting bolts:

So much damage in a parking area. I thought you must drive slower in a parking lot!

So I'm driving down Lovell Lane in Die Boord and just as I reach the bottom this Merc E class (CL 77846) just comes driving across the stop on Marina Road. I swerve and hit the brakes coming to a stop with one wheel on the drive way of the B&B.

Shaken yet p....sed I make a U-turn and follow this a--hole. He skips all the stops on his way to the R44 but I manage to stop next to him at the traffic light for a second before it turned green. Looks like a 18 year old who just got his license with his younger sister next to him.

Flippen rich folks from Die Boord. If I T-boned him, even at 45 km/h, that would be the end of the 407.

LOL, it was the first car with a knee airbag, and honestly speaking it completely changed my view on French engineering. They make cars on par, dare I say even better, than the Germans. Just a pity they fall in the hands of non-car people who often neglect them.

But the biggest downfall for these cars outside of France is parts and the cost to get them. Remember the R12k driver side window.... I'm pretty sure a bumper, two xenon head lights and maybe a radiator and some sensors would total this car.

I witnessed the most bizarre driving today going into Sandton along William Nicol. Lady in a merc compressor, almost shot a stop street and took me out, luckily she stopped. Spent the next 10 or so minutes in heavy morning traffic watching this crazy women obviously late for something, try and get to her destination at any cost. She skipped 2 red lights by driving around the very left lane and just going. Proper taxi style!

Eventually she pulled up next to me and tried cutting into a straight lane while she was in a turning lane. She knew I was having none of it, so she pulled a u turn on a red light and screams down the road the other way.

Oh and she blushing her cheeks with makeup whilst driving like this. I **** you not.

If anyone see's this maniac women in a blue SLK around Sandton, get the **** out the way.

How lovely would it be if the law required every car/bike/truck/bus/tram/taxi whatever, to have a dash cam installed and working and we could send dashcam footage in as evidence of kak driving? Ah to live in the year 3030 must be great!

Had a taxi driver try push me out of the way this morning coming in to the Cape Town CBD in front of Portside. Will check my dashcam footage tonight to see if there is anything worth uploading.

What do you guys normally do? Give way to these a holes?

Dashcams won't be the issue, but with the amount of K@K road users, I don't think government will be able to afford the bandwidth and storage for all the footage

Strange as it may sound, taxis usually give way to bikes. I think the amount of mirrors they lose driving like c*nts causes them issues so they rather make way for bikes and avoid the trouble. In my experience that is mostly the case at least.

As long as there is not monetary reward for the skinnering, because in China there is and then people drive like morons to force other people to break a law so they can send screenshots of the offense for monetary reward, when the other driver is fined.
