Bad or dead connections

This better be all solved by the time I get home today (12:30Pm) otherwise there is going to be hell. I can't even check my email and I'm expecting an important one for work!
 
Yup , agreed , seems like internation browsing is poked. As a guess I would say they ****ed up the configuartions on their transparent proxy server again or their server cluster is way under specced.
I can do international stuff on non browsing ports.
This has been liek this off and on the whole weekend.
Way to go Neotel, Do you actually have ANYONE who understands how the internet works , or are you all incompetent ?
I guess there is no tech staff working on standby as this problem has been on the whole weekend..............................................

having endless connection issues, then it would connect and... nothing! Torrents are dead, can browse some local sites for short while, then everything dies for a while, then it starts up again, and... dies again.... This has been carrying on for the last 12 - 24 hours!

I'm SO wanting to cancel Neotel!
 
PM rpm and request he write another article on thes issues. I know it won't make a difference to neotel but if we can save one person from signing up then that is a success for me. I say we also keep bumping the above article so that it s always seen

I have been having these same issues the entire weekend and I am NOT in CT.
All the time up untill now I have had signal / dc Issues. But I could work around them. From Friday night It was just impossible.

Earlier this morning I couldn't browse international. Now I can't browse anything. I can authenticate on to the network and I can ping the Neotel DNS servers, but that's it. I'm currently trying to contact the call center...been waiting almost 10 minutes so far.

Would be nice if they could put a recorded message on to inform those of us waiting for the call center to answer our calls (the way most other companies do). Oh well, after 18 minutes on hold, I may as well give up and hope things are sorted by the time I get home.
 
This is Neotel, you shouldn't expect anything anymore.

Neotel might not be in a financial crisis yet, but if we start cancelling, then they might start to be.

That an if I see anyone at a Neotel place in a shopping centre, I walk over and tell them exactly what I think of Neotel.

I've done it twice at Gardens Centre (in CPT) and the Neotel people were anything but impressed with me, I scared about 4 possible clients... they can NOT sell stuff that does not work properly!
 
Whats this new add I'm hearing on the radio about free internet from Neotel?

Theyre STILL advertising their asses off, yet they cannot provide.. :rolleyes:

There has already been 2 articles on neotels problems in the last few months and the last one never even received a response from neotel. How about an article about why people are ditching neotel in such large numbers?
