According to some people on these forums, if you've got a disabled passenger you're not allowed to park in the disabled bay. You have to park there, get your passenger out and then go find another parking.

It's a load of tosh in my opinion, but don't expect too much sympathy around these parts.

Yeah for those who do not qualify for disabled parking rights. She has one and drives an automatic designed to help her get around. Wont be long before she stops driving, she's rather old now.

If you don't have one of the stickers, then no you don't get to park in the disabled bay.... otherwise your wheel could be clamped, and its just easier to offload in the disabled bay and go and find a normal parking space.

Google seems to think that there is some disabled link to TNZ019GP but I couldn't find it in the links that Google served up, there is at best an element of doubt introduced by the all-knowing Google. I think Google got it wrong this time.

Honestly, I didn't notice that TNZ019GP had simultaneously parked in two disabled parking bays. The driver of that vehicle needs their hands and kneecaps shot out, unless it really is a disabled person, in which case the disabled community can take the person to task over the double bay issue.

It is right there in the link served up by google. No element of doubt being introduced nowhere.
 
Quick round of applause for MDS Collivery? For I can only derive from this that they've bothered to spend the money to convert PGR196GP for disabled use; and have then done the social upliftment thing of hiring drivers suitable to pilot it; very well done there! :twisted:

Actually, to (concede a point to being) fair, no small amount of the problem here (meaning parking just about everywhere) is due to the *snort* "guards" that do anything but and allow this kind of behaviour to run rampant. But it's not like we're going to see that fixed any time soon either.

That's my local center. Hate that parking lot, especially buttheads who can't get their heads around the one way system.

:erm: are we talking about the same link?

I'm referring to the "docstoc" search result links which pre-dated the MyBB search result link. Google says TNZ019GP is somewhere in amongst that docstoc stuff but I couldn't see it using Ctrl+F.

Yep, same link - docstoc... check out page 16 at the top. I also initially struggled with ctrl+f :o

Pretty sure I saw that same car last month also parked badly. Is that the underground entrance beneath Game? Watch for a white middle aged woman to supervise guard in packing her boot.

This was in the upstairs parking by the Let's Meat entrance.
