Baldur's Gate 3

Early access end of this month. Anyone here going to play?
I'd be keen to play co-op, but my gaming friends think turn-based games are boring. Bought DOS2 for a friend and he played a grand total of 30min. Best money I ever spent :whistling:

PM me if you want to co-op. Will only play over the weekend though.

See. Now that's funny. Because the tic-tac-toe paradigm predates RTwP because of processing limitations.

So who's the boomer here, chum?

There is nothing edgy about tic-tac-toe. Never has been. Never will be. Interesting defense of a terrible mechanic, though/

To be fair going from Turn Based to RTwP is arguably one of the highlights/lowlights that killed the Jagged Alliance franchise with Back in Action, along with simplification that alienated the fan base. I'm of 2 minds. Both have Pro's and Con's I think.

EA lands 7pm sast tonight on both gog and steam. I'm obviously going with gog, **** steam.
I wonder whether regional pricing will apply to the early release? In the case it does then Steam might be the more attractive option, but I don't want to do the early access because I didn't like DOS in early access.

I am currently wrapped in Wasteland 3, people may be praising it, but it needs patching. The one 2020 preorder I am not happy with. It is a bloody good game, and in a playable state, but game breaking bugs do exist. This game needed more time in development with the beta testers.

Probably, pricing isn't as much as an issue for me, gog just gives more back to the dev and you know I don't like steam. But with Tainted Grail, where else? So I got that for about R112 last night to play around with.

I don't mind EA, I mean I literally work with "ea" all day long before my projects go gold. However, when you say you've done a build to the point of release then it should be in a release state  :sneaky:

The day when this game eventually releases, it should be available on the grey market priced at around $30 (plus mark-up). CIS keys are which are usually resold, globally. I guess R600 odd.

I will purchase it tonight or so. I am curious and wish to contribute along with the other bitches on Steam's discussion boards.

I got in a tussle with inXile the other day.

The game is selling so well that it cancelled Steam's checkout. Have this title in your basket, and it crashes on processing the payment.

...

To hell with all of you!

Was looking forward to this so much by my laptop died two weeks ago and I'll only be able to get a new one end of November.

Seems fine now, worked without any issue.

83GB download :crying::crying::crying:
I wantz nowz!

Interestingly I'm watching a guy playing it on Stadia and I must say it seems pretty flawless. No perceptible lag (Well if it can be perceived I failed that roll). Pretty impressive. And those guys can get stuck in immediately as you don't need to download anything.
