I counter that with that many of us are angry people, regardless of race, gender, culture and creed.
I think you should drop this view that a certain group has to show restraint - we are all one in the same. we face different challenges but there are groups that face greater challenges to us, an example is that we have to deal with an idiot or two while other africans have to dodge bullets and avoid some of the most horrible diseases known to man.
where black men are getting angry, women are getting angry too. where white farmers are getting angry, the muslim community is getting angry too.
the point is to not "get over it", but instead of making this a racism issue or a feminist issue, make it a humanist issue - we are all the same.
if there are two idiots fighting in the news over racism and flinging racial insults, it's not about who says what or who is the bigger culprit, it's about seeing what their fight and their arguments are - they're two deluded people fighting over trivial crap.
let's help everyone and see everyone as equal, they at least deserve the chance to prove themselves to us as individuals
