Wait, Ford is supposed to offer you the oe FoMoKo battery made by FNB, not Sabat. Interesting that they would do that.

Their OEM is Varta branded with a Ford logo on it. They said they don't carry that anymore.

I have no idea, I used to get from a place in Wynberg but it moved or closed down, I have switched to using a friend's local brand, Enertec.

Panasonic batteries are pretty good just impossible to find in SA.

The import cars come with whatever battery the factory puts in, but local factories all put the FNB battery into it. The oe replacement would be the FNB battery, unless something very very recent happened that I have not heard about yet.

Look if tyres and all replace batteries. Use eB.

Yes, slightly larger, as long as the rest of the specs are fine.

It will depend on the specific batteries, something that may differ and is important for large diesel engines is CCA or cold crank amps, but based on the size of the battery you have I doubt this will be an issue.
