Battlefield 1 Open Beta is live

Already downloaded. will test tonight but I thought you could only play from 1 Sep on-wards?
 
Well I managed to download it last night as well and played 10 whole seconds on an empty overseas server before I had to run for work. I didnt see an SA server, but it looks nice.
 
Wont even bother with this game, EA fooled me too many times. Time to say no.

This time I'm only getting the Standard edition. Never get much value from the more expensive editions.

I need something to try my GTX 1070 on ...

Rise of the Tomb raider on DX12 is either poorly optimised or just very demanding.
 
When I played yesterday there were no SA servers, or any servers in Africa for that matter.

I must say, i'm not particularly happy with the game, I feel that the sniping and tanks are going to be taking over the game. Without RPG's, taking out tanks in the Beta has proved frustrating to say the least

Tanks are definitely OP but it's a big map, tanks and snipers were always gonna thrive. They should have put out two maps, the other one close quarters.

Please I hope there's no nerfing like they did with BF4. Hardcore felt like normal mode in bf4.

I hope it's longer, I really enjoyed battlefield 3 but for some reason didn't like battlefield 4 so much even though it was basically the same game. Maybe the maps etc. Wanna play a bit to see if it's worth getting. I tried battlefront beta but didn't enjoy it. We should get local servers once the game is released I suppose?
