Battlefield 1 Open Beta is live

I ordered on the 2nd and theratman yesterday at R600. Must be a temporary glitch.
 
Deluxe is R1099 and Ultimate R1899.

I really hope it's only a temporary glitch.
 
On the prices: origin (and others like battlenet) have a nice habit of selecting the most expensive option when you go to payment, regardless of which one you originally picked. You have to change it again to the correct version before final payment.

Rather sneaky of them.
 
And still no confirmation of local servers for the final game... M

My selection remained Standard when I ordered BF1 last week.
 
Wow good thing I per-orderd a couple of months ago already.

Running BF1 Beta at a constant 60fps on Ultra graphics with DX12. Love this game.

Awww :( I can't stand snipers. IF you're going to shoot me, at least have the courtesy to do it in my face. Not camping on a hill somewhere.
 
One thing of concern though is that even though I have the order confirmation it hasn't gone off my credit card yet. Mmm ...

Order status on EA is "Processing".

There's a great counter to snipers. It's called a tank.

That is a counter to everything at the moment. The biggest problem with the light tank at the moment is that it takes no work to go on a kill streak but serious team work to kill it.
 
I'm that tosser that takes a landtank with 2 gunners up the arch near F and just pounds snipers. Loads of fun if you trying to hold D or slow the enemy from G. Kill so many snipers while stationary, they also never bother spotting you so planes don't know where you are.
 
**** me!!!! Waited for the beta to see if I liked it. Was gonna order soon. Now price almost doubles. R1000 for a game isn't a joke. ****, don't think I'm gonna get it at that price.

I honestly thought I was gonna get 2 games for around that price for this year. Fifa 17 standard edition and battlefield standard edition. But I'm gonna have to give it a miss. Maybe get fifa 17
