Kiff thing is you can still bayonet charge without the gun so you run around screaming while they mow you down.

I will try this... was playing by myself in a random squad and I had guns, joined up with a friend and I never spawned with a gun.
 
Placed my pre-order for the Standard Edition. R600.

You Deluxe Edition three day earlier access peeps can sort out the bugs. :p
 
Man the game is awesome!Only issue I have is it takes days to go back to main menu!
 
This feels like it has more in common with Battlefront than Battlefield 4 if you look at weapon handling.
 
Agree. It does have a certain Battlefront feel to it. Might be the simple layout perhaps. However, still an amazing game although I couldn't connect/play yesterday as I kept receiving DX12 errors. Worked fine the previous day.
 
I'm around lvl 30 having played quite a bit over the weekend, only drawback is the number of snipers as I mostly play assault. Haven't had too many issues other than frames dropping from 80 to 10 out of the blue but its only for a second or so. Really impressed and put my order in, R600 on origin so not too bad.

On large maps you're bound to get a lot of snipers. That's pretty much a given when playing any FPS online...
 
Had a few rounds. Most of the time was spawning without guns which kind of sucked.

Game looked amazing and played very well on high on a Radeon 270x. I was surprised.

Sure but when there are 10 guys sitting on a cliff and you are the only non sniper in your squad there is a problem, not with the game just the plonkers playing it. I'm constantly in the top 5 each map because I go for objectives and not k/d ratio. But as you said it's not specific to BF.

Yeah runs really well! My mate had the no gun spawn issue, haven't had it myself yet.
 
I like to play medic. But I haven't played bf since bf3, medics used to do there jobs in bf3 (1st 6 months) . I feel no one revives anyone in the bf1 beta.
Are we playing on sa servers cause I always have pings below 10?

I tried it close to c and it was fine but I feel the beta map is too large and open for medics unless you are in a squad that sticks together.

Yeeeeeah I think 2 from the 210ms ping is obscured by the signal symbol.

Also have only been revived once in this game... have been spawning with guns a lot recently which is nice.

Played when I got home from work this morning. And in 2 full matches I got revived 3 times. Which im happy with compared to the last few days...
 
Standard Ed is R1000 on Origin. Well now. Just means I won't get it at all then.
