Battlefield 1 updates

Well after playing 50 hours on EU and haven't played since beginning January I must say the lower latency really changes the whole feel of game, feels like FPS smooth as well, but probably cause of patch but in general it just runs so dam well.

Also found out if you choose quickmatch and choose your game mode from there you can find operation servers as well as other conquest servers with low ping. Some of the servers aren't listed in the browser.
 
I had about 20ms ping, im with mweb. i only once had a ping spike for about 20 seconds to 120ms

I enjoyed it a lot! Much smoother than euro servers. However, I died a lot more! These SA guys are quick... Also noticed less scouts, more aggressive gameplay. Awesome experience!
 
Had a good experience playing, it's going to take a while till I'm use to playing without lag, battled to get kills like I would on EU servers. Unless SA players are good, but yeah I ran off a 38 ping compared to 188. Just still battling to find servers once a refine the search for Africa. Will try quick match tonight!

Tried quick match last night, couldn't get into any.
Gave up.

I'm hopeful that once the peering issue has been fixed we'd be able to find matches without problems.

Eager to get my game on this weekend.
 
I just type in africa in the little search box on PC, The servers were permanatly full last night so this is why people kept getting a error failed to connect to matchmaking or something like that.

Wonder how they decide on how many "instances" of say Conquest gets launched

Surely if the demand is there it should automatically generating more "instances"

Or the server itself can only handle so many?
 
I heard it took some guys ages to get in.
I'm going to wait a bit, let things settle in before I try again.
Hopefully they add more servers.

They really need to add more instances...

the queue length is ridiculous for conquest
 
Plus the servers start emptying quickly after 11

I played a few conquest games last night which was super fun. The latency does make the game feel more fluent and the movements more instant, totally love it!

However, there are still only 2 Conquest servers online and they both packed. Luckily I have the Premium Pass, so I go straight to first place in the queue, so the wait was only a minute or two :p 9 players was in the queue before me

Will definitely be playing some more BF1 this weekend :)
