Sheesh, those servers are getting busy! struggled to get on for almost an hour yesterday, and what's with passwording some of them, like SGS IV and the GZ server?

Heh Drusky, I thought I saw you out there, we can "exchange tickets" next time ;)

As far as Kamikaze goes, yeah it's lame, but it serves a purpose. It's more a case of being stuck on the carrier when some dumba$$ noob takes the blackhawk and goes it alone, leaving you stranded - unless you take a plane.

You could always take a boat. :p
Damn - payed till 05H30 on Sunday Morning - Got to stoppit. Was a bit surprised to be up at that time with about 40 others though. Well - not really that surprised.

Newayz - I've never noticed a password on any of the 4 public SGS servers.
Methinks the BF2's "server full" error handling is a bit flawed.

I find that sometimes, you join, and then, once the map is loaded, BF2 just closes.
Then when you re-join, it loads a different map, so there's a problem with the change-map logic as well.

I know one of the BF clans {BoC} was having a clan practice on the GZ server and I think there was a clan match on SGS server 4.

I was having good fun with road kills yesterday. I killed about 4 guys in Fushe Pass with a buggy. Too funny.
I distinctly remember running antowan over on operation clean sweep. Great fun!

Man - saw some bloke kill 8 people in a row with a jeep. That's better than a full BH down.
Amazingly, the jeep didnt even slow down - the instant screams for medic medic medic medic medic medic medic medic were hilarious - you could actually notice the different voices they use.

I reckon road rage isn't nearly as annoying as choper hopping, and it's more fun. Kind of like Battlefield:Carmageddon . . .

Yup - I suppoze I does play too much - but whats worse is that i'm not actually improving at all.
Other thing is - I see wierd stuff cos i'm trying to find wierd places on the maps.
Like - On the dreaded kurba dam map, you can drive the AA tank right to the top of the hill and you can take out anything cos you can keep them locked cos nothings blocking your view - until yer missile supply runs out that is. Missiles finished - base-jump back to AA tank's base.

Anybody find other cool spots ?

Cool, didn't we squad this weekend? I thought I recognized McJunk. Hell, if I suck I suck, so be it.

How do you end up with 100+ on a map? I really struggle to break 50 or so. I'm typically either ~30 or negative something . . .

I've no idea how to get more than 100 and I've never gotten a gold medal either.
We probablee were squadding - but it's kinda hard to keep track cos of all the switchovers at map-end.
I refuse to chopper hop - well - unless i'm getting a lift to somewhere to play defend the flag.
Having said that - i've seen a score of 102 on that skirmish map with 3 starting points for the one team and a river in the middle with a bridge and a train - i.e. No choppers.
Carent merember who had that score though, so mebbe we just really suck [well I do].

UMM IVE SEEN BFC DEE GET 380 VIA CHOPPER HOPPING

personally my best score is around 130 mostly chopper kills
my best infantry score is around 98-100

its not to hard to get a 100 once you get into the swing of things
i mostly play anti tank which is awesome unlocked the doa 12 which is a killing machine

o mcjunk yea
ive been in a squad with you why didnt you tell me you wherer stoke grrrrrr

dont worry bf 2 takes awhile to get into, aiming is alot different from bf 1942

I've picked up the doa 12 a few times, unfortunately I never seem to hang onto it long enough to use it in anger. I'm a bit dissillusioned with the G36, while you can actually snipe with it, it's supposed to be the fasted weapon in the game, yet I can dump a clip in a guy and without a headshot, he doesn't go down :p

Karkand?

Since I found out about it, I've tended to stick to the urban server, although it's a tough call, which is worse: chopper hoppers or bunny hoppers?

Stick with me McJunk, we can work on a Sux0r Squad ;)

Yea - we'll strike fear into our enemies, cos they know that we'll not give up and that our squad leader is well hidden and thay they are going to die - eventually, and they will not get that flag back without killing every one of us first and and chopper hoppers will be taken out by shooting the hoppers out of the choppers first coz it's more fun that way.

Incidentally - AT's can take out a BH in 2 shots if you strike in the gap between the chopper blades and the chopper. If the chopper is smoking - it's yer best bet.

Me loves that AT shotgun - bunnie up to the bloke on the ground and booom boom - dead - 180 degree turn - boom boom boom - dead. Problem is that sometimes you can take out a teamie far too easily. But hell - that reload time is a killer of note, and AT's short sprint cycle is terrible.

I've started playing medic more and more, but seem to have hassles reviving dying peeps - carent seem to get the paddles in the right position every time.

Man I love this game. It's going to kill me.
