It's nice, not my best, it's a bit of a flag scramble.

Check out the SGS forums - they attempt to do (or devise new) stunts like those videos that have been posted there.

You need to book your place.

bwaahaaa... i watched a dude attempt to jump out a plane into another one last night in a normal game.... he did a major face plant and became a big splat on the runway.... i love the way as he hops out his little legs and runnning in mid air like he's gonna be doing the right speed when he hits the ground!

What's Punkbuster and Why the hell can it not pick on another n00b somewhere else?

Punkbuster r a wierd thing added that checks if you're trying to cheat.
You must Enable Punkbuster to play on the SGS servers - look for the Punkbuster checkbox before you connect.

Quick way to add favorites:

In:
C:\Documents and Settings\Stoke\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\General.con

Replace 0001 with the profile you're playing with - 0002, 0003, 0004 ...

Look for :
GeneralSettings.setServerFilter ""

Add Underneath:
GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer "196.4.79.20" 29900 "-= SGS BF2 RANKED I Server =-"
GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer "196.4.79.31" 29900 "-= SGS BF2 RANKED II Urban Server =-"
GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer "196.4.79.26" 29900 "-= SGS BF2 RANKED III Server =-"
GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer "196.4.79.6" 29900 "-= SGS BF2 RANKED IV Server =-"
GeneralSettings.addFavouriteServer "196.4.79.28" 29900 "-= SGS BF2 RANKED V Server =-"

Added the GeneralSettings stuff.

now, how do i know which profile i am playing with - ?

When u log in on the bottom left of the screen it says active or current account and then the name of the account.

ok, its an active account....

I made the other changes except for the profile..

I updated the pb/ and /pb /htm files too

i also found the pb updater exe as well, so that will be up to date in a snap!

I am getting murdered in there... YIKES!!!

This is one cool game.

I still find being knifed or defibrillated quite irritating. I used to find it insanely offensive. Not that I ever sent abuse across the airwaves over it but if I did run into you and shot you later in the game. Well I'd probably empty the clip into your erm "critically injured" bod and jump up and down on it.... :eek:

just a quickie but what does PWEB say when you run it?

and have you got perhaps any firewalls/antivirus programs running in the background that could be blocking PB's updating?

No Problem

I had a small spliff last night before playing, so the brain misfired.

I was getting good help here and though it may be good to carry on asking the ?'s here.... until is saw that thread at about 2 this morning - On the up side though, I did manage to get it sorted out now.

But I am still getting killed out there.

I am running this on a LeadTek card - one with the GeForce 5700 chipset.... what kind of card would it take to get a good resolution while playing online and offline... to i need to cancel the new car so i can shell out 2k on a Gfx card?

a regular 6600 or 6800 would help. but the biggest aid for BF2 is having at least 1GB of RAM... if you can get more than that then its even better.

Sweet.

I have the RAM, but it's 1GB of regular stuff, not this super expensive low latency stuff.

For xmas though, if there is some extra ca$h left, I will try to get a new gfx card.

I just organised my reseller hosting as well and have space for 50 sites, so I am wondering if anyone is keen for building a BF2 Fan site.... for the fun of it?

Now i will kill the accuonts I have and create a proper profile as well.

I'm Hooked.
