Heh, I get a perverse satisfaction when I take out someone at long distance with anti tank. It's rare tho ;)
 
Hmm, it's quite something to be sniping on the other end of one of those, reading the manufacturer on the side of the rocket just before the lights go out.
 
Anyone else have trouble finding a server last night?

I was forced to play on the GZ 16way server and ended up on the TK wall of shame :(

It was an amazing shot. heard gunfire, so turned my tank turret to see a chopper shooting at me, with no tag. "Bullseye!" blew the chopper out of the sky with the cannon (great shot actually) only to get those unfortunate "you've been TKp'd messages" and as I turned further, the chopper had just saved my a$$ from another tank. Doh!

Even worse I was commander at the time, double doh !!
 
Okay - anybodee know where the 64 player servers went ?
We're running out of servers - eeeeeeeeek.
/me hopes 1.03 will improve nw performance enough to bring back the 64 player servers.
/me rembers that we did play 64 players with no problems for about 1.5 months.
/me remebers that me started noticing lag getting bad.
/me noticed that nothing changed in the game, but lag got so bad they had to drop the # of players.
/me glarez at teklom ...
 
I'm guessing either the servers couldn't handle the load, or the likes of ADSL192 was struggling to keep up with client side of things.

It's getting a bit difficult to find an open server these days.

Any word on patch 1.03?

Been there. Still think the worst is when I played Iraqi Engineer. Was running around a busy guard tower, Sharqi P.
Place was crawling with another squad. Killed two, rounded the corner and wiped another guy who was right in my face. Turned out #3 was a tk.

He had a medic kit so I grabbed it and revived him, "hasty sorry man". Dont think he was too pleased about running off with an auto shotgun :( I on the other hand ended up with a cool scoped rifle :D L85 i think.
 
great game, been playing it 2 weekends in a row at PC Barracks internet cafe', having a ball, but still low on kills but plenty of deaths :)
 
Ey - as long as u're having fun.
Remeber to throw the odd knock knock joke into the microphone.
Like - Knock Knock - Knock Knock - Knock Knock - Knock Blerry Knock Somebody Answer the Door - *eventually* - Who's there ? - Dunno - Dunno Who ? - Dunno Either. Then run when the entire team points their weapons at you - ROFL. :)

I gots to get the "aiming in mid air down at bloke diving into floor" thing right first though.
I respectfully accept your offer of the pansy noddy badge, and will join the first team I find you in.

Heh, the only time I "bunny hop" is when I get caught with my pants down (figuratively speaking of course) by running out of ammo and reloading my weapon when an enemy is right in my face.

It's a case of:

"Ha, got you now"... <fire> <click click>
"Ah crap! Wtf?!"

<bounce bounce> maybe I'll survive the reload <bounce bounce>

<boom>*DEAD*

gah. It rarely works tho. ;)
 
there's plenty out there with positive match ratios.. just keep playing and you will get there... :)
