as long as they dont use planes or APCs to transport C4 to the enemy anything else is legal...

Hey - nothing wrong with a kamikaze jeep - why on earth would anybody moan about that one ?
At least then if you're driving around a corner and meet an APC, it's not just the jeep that dies, it's also the APC.
Seriously though - it's quite real life that one.
Fair ?
 
lol! You wanna compare real life to running around in a jeep loaded with C4?

It could be fun if it happened to you ONCE in one evening... but 24 times in one evening was really too much and 50% of that from veteran players whom i thought were too proud to pull off such maneuvers on and on and on during the same round.

I wish they could stick their C4 elsewhere.... :P

Seriously though, I consider the c4 jeep thing fair game. I get taken out by the 20mm cannon as often as I pull off the kamikaze crash, it's just as not to die in vain, 'cause it's really irritating to spend 2 minutes driving across the map to get whacked by an APC wit nothing to show for it.

Now, if I could just find a way to whack choppers with it ;)
 
/me understands annoying practices - at least use some variety you damn c4 hockey jockey!

Best thing i've ever seen regarding jeeps:
I woz rushing to get back to me team after I died, and there woz this enemy standing in the middle of the road, so natrually me aims for im to ride him over. The bloke does not even move. So, I just keep accelerating, and booom - straight into the mine he threw in front of himself just as i got to him. Kleva - verrry kleva.
 
at least it seems the expansion for BF wont feature many vehicles and thus will be mostly infantry warfare... so many vets wont perform as in BF2, thats for sure... :P

C4 on jeep.

Doing C4 jeep once in an evening is fine multiple times and you're saying "I'm bored with this game" or "I'm too bleary eyed and tired to concentrate and get kills in a challenging way"

As for driving all way across map & getting nailed by apc, happens to everyone:
you wanna kill someone NOW!... you take risk... you die

Don't think we shud use real life and BF2 in one sentence. Too many spring loaded GI's bouncing around in the game and surviving nogal :)

I have done the C4 on jeep thing. it was fun but for me it's gotten a bit old.

of course if the game was realistic it wouldn't be a game and there would be blood and brains on my keyboard not coffee.
 
Me sawed the funniest thing last night - man oh man - ROFL ROFL ROFEL rofelllllling ping.

Picture it - that "demo" map, the right hand flag where the flag is next to the pool.
I'm lying behind the AA ground missile gun thing (Waiting to hear a chopper incomming).
I notice the flag goes white, kneel to lookover the sacks of sand, and lo and behold:
5 [probably] teamies are standing in a line on the paving next to the pool.
But - then the one at the back crouches, stands up, crouches, stands up.
Then the one in front of him starts crouches, stands up, crouches, stands up.
Then the one in front of him starts crouches, stands up, crouches, stands up.
We now have three boppers in a row and it really looks like they're doint it to some rave style tune...
By now i'm LMAO, and can hardly hold down CTRL, my finger slips...
BOOM - i'm Dead - I think the bloke in front hit me with an AT missile.

Was the first death by humour i'd ever seen.
But I still *snicker* when my mind replays the sight.
 
Am I imagining it, or is it damn near impossible to find a server these days?

Spent 15mins screwing around pregame on GZ1 waiting for an game, but finally had to go back to SGS.
 
Saw a BF1942 vid like that once, guys jumping around like in a mosh pit. Sitting in jeep head banging.

It was interesting but I don't think it'd make you kill yourself laughing

c4 booby traps are the best, i've taken to hand delivering attack choppers and tanks with c4 right to the enemy's base, leave em there all shiny and clean and wait for some mofo's to come out and "hey cool, lets take that heli"
