Still down?

Bleh I'm giving up for tonight...

Who knows I might just get laid for the first time since BF3 was launched :D
 
It's not about a fix, it's about buying something and not being able to use it. I don't want to whine, but come on EA, no warning or anything, starting to regret buying BF3. Btw is Mumble or TeamSpeak the only way to have coms in-game ?
 
Fsking annoying!!!

I get +- 2 hours at night to jol some BF3 and shoot people in the face, and its down.

Not a happy Grimspoon!
 
just spent best part of two hours on wake island. then i got an arrow to the knee. (got dc'd)
 
Yup highly annoying but i am a positive thinker so i don't focus on the bad :D.

Sure it's down but tomorrow night imagine that pure epicness :p. Gave me some time to catch on my series which i have been neglecting, i am only watching the first episode of most of them :eek:. No time since bf 3 takes all my spare time.

Not a good beginning of their existence....servers were down the day released. Then a 400 meg update, a 3.9gig update and now servers are down again. Steam must be laughing at them.

The game's great, just need to get better monkeys running it.

But surely those updates have nothing to do with Origin? I still have not dloaded latest update for BF3 :( over it for now
 
You can also do voice communication using the party function in battlelog. Create a party, add friends to it, click join voice, and you're sorted.

Stupid Origin. The hole night i was waiting to play the new maps and the origin does not work. When i log in "Well try to" then it shows offline or it says i cant connect try again later. Was there a notification out that i missed about the down time. I wish BF3 was hosted by Steam. They never have **** and when you pause the download, it can resume again.
 
I managed to get on one of the new maps at about 7:30 (the one in the city) only 16 of us was awesome, two evenly matched teams was an epic game. Then left for a smoke and couldn't get back on. Oh well tonight is another night.
 
My one friend told me this morning that they were busy with the server update's yesterday, and when the servers crashed after a few minutes of play, they stoped the servers and EA also stoped us from log in to origin. So hopefully our server will be ok today on gameservers.com

Don't count on it. I still get this msg on Battlelog.
"NOTICE We are performing maintenance on the game in general at the moment. We will keep you updated on the progress."

Steam does have problems too - dealing with Skyrim has been a 'mare for me. But maybe that was Telkom - the login process gets bored, it seems.

And the Origin update will pick up where it left off. Ususally.

Dude, origin downloaded like 11gigs for many people.
 
So yesterday, despite all the **** with Origin, I managed to purchase the DLC. Shortly thereafter Origin crashed and I could not log in again. After muh frustration I gave up last night and went to sleep expecting that everything would be fine this morning.

No such luck. When I got up this morning I checked FNB and noticed that EA has deducted the R120.00 from my credit card for the game. I then log into Origin and find no hint on my account of BTK. When I try join BTK servers, I get an error saying that I need to purchase the game. Before I left for work I tried to contact their support - 40 minute wait to speak to someone on live chat? I finally sent them a detailed e-mail, to which I still await a response. Seriously WTF.
