Saw a post on the battlelog forums about it so I decided to check out my own......BAM! Felt exactly like a headshot from 1m. Will have to wait till I'm home to see if it carried over to the game. I will cry like a little biatch.
 
Okay wait, never mind. Just checked and it says 0 score, 0 kills 0 w/l ratio. :(

I'm sure this is just down temporarily while they update the servers.... or something
 
Yup.....because BF3 has been smooth as a babies bottom so far....so I doubt it will be permanent. Lol. Damnit all.

Did manage to play about five rounds of tdm last night without crashing to desktop so that was epic!!

This game is too much nice.

It isn't one guy sitting in front of a PC for days - it is usually a bunch of people playing in relays. We had that with a local chop on the BF2 release. He got reset.

I hope they do that with the lvl 40 dude I saw. Its not fair for the rest of us. He was pwning every round.

Hehe ya but i am struggling hey.

Can only really put in the hours on the weekend so during the week i will barely play but i am blowing off whatever stuff my mates wanna get up to this weekend to play :D.

Leveling up is fast as well

I tried to play 64 player servers but wow the lag gets crazy, sometimes it's fine but wow it can get bad.

What i can is get the hours in and get your weapons because you pooned without them. Starting off without anything vs okes with 7/8x zoom many unlocks is tough so i wanted to try get as many unlocks as possible.

64 is a no go for me. I'm very interested to see if the upgrades to the servers help lag though. But now Mweb is having issues and they say it will affect gaming :( Dammit!

Just checked on battlelog and my stats have been restored, thank goodness

Not that I'm a competitive oke or anything :erm: but I was checking your stats out as on Sunday..... It seems you have done a frikken good job with those unlocks :D

I thought the weapons were fairly well balanced, but does anyone else find the later weapons make killing easier?? In the assault class, I'm using the M416, and it just "feels" easier targeting and staying on the enemy....
 
I have given up trying to chase the fast movers. I will get there when I get there, but I don't want to be at a disadvantage wrt the guns I have etc...

Yeah, the problem is that it does actually seem to make quite a bit of a difference. Not to blow my own horn, but I know I'm pretty damn good at FPS games. When I am playing against the ENGIMA guys, who were playing together and are level 25, they seem to be made of steel or something! I have to take them completely by surprise to kill them, and even if I do take the one oke his teamie is usually just around the corner :(

I know it's release weekend, but seriously. I clocked up 9 or 10 hours over the WHOLE weekend. 18 hours in two days is like 0_o

But I guess I'll see how I hold up once I reach a similar level to them.

naaa you must check okes with 2-4 kd's :eek:.

Well it's not so much the weapon that makes the difference i reckon it is the attachments and add ons that make the weapon good.

So for instance if you have very few unlocks and i have majority of them i will see you before you see me and poon you because i can zoom in 4-7 x which makes killing far easier. You get a grip that lowers the recoil. You can add a silencer and so on. So the add ons for the weapons are very useful.

The best thing to do is work for all the weapons with most of the unlocks and play around with them and see which works best for your style of play :D.

19 hours is nothing, it was only so low because i got pissed watching the lions whip the sharks :D. In all honesty i cannot think of a better way to spend 19 hours, Playing bf 3 while talking a bunch of rubbish with my clan mates on TS is awesome.
