Battlefield 3

They should really make these patches stand-alone so that people can share them more easily, and ISP's like WAGE can offer it through their freezone. I guess in Europe where line speeds are hundreds of times faster than ours, the thought doesnt even cross their minds. I've read so many posts by people in Europe where they mention download time....The average is around 5-15minutes.

How i wish..
 
My internet crashed during the night. So this morning i tried to resume the download, and i started from 1% again. I hate Origin, steam much better with downloads. So i will start again.

So is it possible to download the patch, copy the folder, and place it on a mates machine? He is on prepaid, and im on uncapped. Just wanna see if this would work for him?

I did that whit the beta so I don't see any reason why it will not work whit the patch
 
If any one gets the patch from some one else and installs it manually pls let us know how it goes. Im picking the patch up from some one on saturday but would like to know if it does work.

FFS I download the whole of yesterday and last night. Wake up this morning see it's at 92.62% complete, leave it for 3 hours come back and it's still 92.62% complete. Try pause and resume the download, now it says download complete. Restart origin just to make sure now it starts the download from 0%.

What is weird is that when I started my download yesterday, and then got home, it was done!
I'm on a 1MB line at home... I have no idea how I managed to download 3.6GB in that few hours on 1MB line.
I'm not complaining though.

I'm going at 18KB/s and Im on a 4Mb line. Sigh.

Think my ISP doesn't want me to play it.
